I guess BRB seems neat...

...but VS Meta Knight? Pffft no thanks.

MK should fight a sword user.
At least Beta Ray Bill holds a bladed weapon.
At least two:
  • Twilight Sword
  • Stormbreaker (a half hammer half axe single hand item)

Then just feed Marx to Flandre
It’s a much better MU with an actual legacy behind it and fun potential lol

The Mu was made to give Kirby an L so yea
Yeah lmfao
Poor Marx. Well Kirby and King Dedede won their respective Death Battle matchups. Magolor will very likely win one "if placed carefully". So is Meta Knight. Possibly Zero, Zero-Two, Nightmare, Queen Sectonia, Void Termina and even Fecto Elfilis. (Bit those may be too obscure to use)

Or you may throw in other side characters but their arsenal may not be too much to talk about.

Nah thats old and Matthew Pathew made another vid where Mario beats Sonic in obscure sports.

Kinda frustrating he keeps using Archie, even mistaking Fleetway as that (which fine, I kinda get it its just a mistake). Guess FNaF using books as canonish rottened his brains.

Man, you are so agressive when it comes to r/dbm users lmao, what did they do to you? Forced you to watch cartoons 24/7 while riding a horse?
r/deathbattlematchups is a subreddit full of the worst examples of the worst parts of the Death Battle fandom.

First of all, they are cringy. That's enough for me to despise anything.

They are also one of the reasons why so many popular matchups are crappy and get promoted so much. They always try to inflate the connections of a matchup with as many irrelevant similarities as possible because they think that a MU having a bigger wall of text as the connections would make it better. They do that a lot with matchups of characters they like, they can't bring themselves to admit that they just like a matchup because they like both characters and want to see them fight each other. No, they want their matchups to seem deeper than it really is. That's why so many of them put crap like "They both have relatives (relative of character 1 is their father, relative of character 2 is their cousin) that are stronger than them and they want to be stronger to be on par with them" or something about how both have friends with white hair. They try to word the connections of their matchups in certain ways in order to make them sound more similar than they really are.

They are a mindless circlejerk that attacks anything that disagrees with them. Not only that but they have a really bad tendency to harass and villainize anyone that acts in a slightly toxic manner. Instead of resolving everything in private with the mods they will make dozens of posts insulting you and you will have dozens of more people insulting you at once. You know why other communities don't have as many "villains" as r/dbm? Because they don't go out of their way to harass anyone that slightly breaks their rules, they resolve everything privately. I have seen multiple people be affected by their harassment campains. I would hate them less if they didn't give so much attention to rulebreakers as they currently do.

I think those are all the reasons I hate them so much, nothing else comes to my mind yet.

The fact that you are trying to summarize one subreddit into one person seems very unreasonable
Yes, there are bad MUs but they are pretty much inescapable, bad MUs will be on every website relating to death battle but that doesn't mean there are no good MUs, hell, I'm pretty sure Pucci vs Sakuya gained its traction on r/dbm specifically and you seem to really like that MU.
Idk what are you talking about here but I was never harassed on r/dbm, even though I'm pretty sure many people disagreed with me throughout my posts there and I cannot really remember that much "villains on r/dbm", aside from the Mecha Sonic vs Cinder guy (Who acted like a jerk to everyone, insulted pretty much everyone for disliking his MU and called literally an entire subreddit nazis) and Arik (Literal pedophile). There was also NCS but his story is very long and pretty much a huge rabbit hole that I don't even want to talk about right now.
Even if you want to make an argument that they have "villains", that really just applies to all communities: Chris Chan, LowTierGod, Spoony and a shit ton of other lolcows, the "villains" were always a part of interner as a whole, they always will be, because no matter what the internet will always be full of assholes.

I too hate redditors.

That was not my intention. Obviously there are some good or normal people in that shithole, but I am comparing r/dbm to other fandoms and other DB communities. In comparison to other DB communities, r/dbm tends to be the worst one.

What I am saying is that r/dbm has a tendency to promote crappy matchups more than other DB communities. And I know Pucci vs Sakuya got really popular because of r/dbm. That is one of the few examples of MUs popularized by r/dbm that are at least decent. Mediocre connections, good animation/banter potential though I admit it might not be the objectively best for both. It's still decent, I like it more out of pure bias.

Idk on what are you talking about here but I was never harassed on r/dbm, even though I'm pretty sure many people disagreed with me throughout my posts there
Just because you haven't been harassed by them doesn't mean other people get harassed by that subreddit.

I cannot really remember that much "villains on r/dbm", aside from the Mecha Sonic vs Cinder guy (Who acted like a jerk to everyone, insulted pretty much everyone for disliking his MU and called literally an entire subreddit nazis) and Arik (Literal pedophile). Those 3 are probably the most popular ones but there are more "subreddit villains" than those three. r/dbm seems to have a new subreddit villain every 2 weeks and every time they decide to neeedlessly harass someone instead of doing things in private

There are not other subreddits were one person is villainized as much as how r/dbm villanizes one new random rulebreaker every 2 weeks. Because other subreddits at least have the decency to resolve everything in private.

That doesn't mean that every random rulebreaker has to be turned into a lolcow. They should be ignored, not harassed. Other communities doing the same crappy things doesn't justify the way r/dbm handles things. Two wrongs don't make a right.

You clearly haven't heard of Death Battle fanon wiki.

I visit the sub pretty much every day and I still do not remember that much of them, last time I remember some guy who told someone to kill themselves and pretty much everyone agreed that guy was an asshole and then everyone quickly forgot about them.

That doesn't mean that every random rulebreaker has to be turned into a lolcow. They should be ignored, not harassed. Other communities doing the same crappy things doesn't justify the way r/dbm handles things. Two wrongs don't make a right.
What I am trying to say here is that this isn't something r/dbm exclusive, love it or hate it but it's internet's nature, people love to villafy others or just make fun of someone who acts like a dork.

There are not other subreddits were one person is villainized as much as how r/dbm villanizes one new random rulebreaker every 2 weeks. Because other subreddits at least have the decency to resolve everything in private.
I don't really use reddit that much outside of r/dbm and r/okbuddymetal (Btw best ******* subreddit ever) but I'm pretty sure that if you dig enough you can find an entire subreddit like that, reddit's a pretty cancerous place, y'know, I am definetly sure r/dbm is just the tip of the iceberg.

Whats a Mu to you guys that feels like you have tried very hard to make it seem like the loser is comparable to the winner for a general fight animation?

we know stomps aren't new and doesn't stop a fight from being good but in a certain case what feels like you can't envision it even for the sakes of animation?

Probably The Terrarian vs Steve

The Terrarian can mine faster, build faster, he can destroy buildings and blocks from a distance with his explosive rockets, he can infinitely fly, he can snipe, he has weapons that shoot dozens of bullets per second, he can instantly teleport, he has bigger swords. The Terrarian surpasses Steve in every way, it would be hard to turn that into an animation unless you nerf The Terrarian.

Reimu vs Yusuke.

Not only is Reimu absurdly above Yusuke in every category, the vast majority of her hax are just variations on "you can't touch me"; Multiversal spatial intangibility, passive probability/fatehax that make her untouchable, thought-based illusions (as well as conceptual manipulation and death hax), BFR, and paralysis inducement are just a few examples. Not to mention, she has instinctive reactions that allow her to fight while completely unconscious.

To sum it up, Yusuke cannot even touch Reimu, let alone harm her, while Reimu sits perfectly still and either thinks him out of existence or falls asleep and instinctively blows him to pieces. This is a problem with a lot of Reimu MUs, actually, although it's worse for Yusuke because he legitimately has 0 advantages. None whatsoever, not even experience (dude's a teenager while Reimu's in her early/mid-20s).

AI voices so far sounds soulless and it obviously sounds like AI. It sounds inhuman, it has less quality than human voice actors. I hope they don't switch to AI voices (They won't)

I was making AI Goku fight AI Yukari Yakumo for a TikTok video and I have now found proof for 2-B multiverse level Touhou :
I had no idea this thing existed, so I immediately tried it with Gilgamesh and The Emperor of Mankind. It literally just devolved into them screaming at each other about being way cooler than the other.

So yeah turns out it's pretty accurate.

The way I forced both AIs to fight each other is by putting words in their mouths and telling the other AI the character I am using and what I want to do
Fo9TMQ1XEAAHDdz

Fo9TMckWIBMrwHp

When I don't do that the AIs just talk friendly to each other. ANd I don't want that, I want them to fight to the death.

AI voices can evolve.
The same way as AI drawing.
And with Vocaloid and Vtuber being things, voice actors should be really worried.

Great by itself.
But anyone not so sure this at Valentine's Day?

Is anyone going to "seventy" me with some good Oma Zi-O vs Lord Drakkon shipping pics

Oh pals the day has come.

Luz vs Anne commissioned music work finally comes to being.
At least they are officially shipped

Calamity at the door seems to be a weird title. It makes sense, but something like "Boiling Calamity/Glyphs of Calamity/House of Calamity" seemed more obvious. Hmm

Luz vs Akko is also getting a vocal track sometime in the future according to the discord.

So far all the tracks have been great, can't wait for a real DB battle track.

Marcy Wu's matchups. She stomps or gets stomped.

At last, Anuz.

I still prefer Luz VS Akko.
