Hey guys, I'd like to ask, what other Dragonball battles would you like to see on Death Battle in the future? Outside of Thawne vs Black.
Cell VS Copy X.
Frieza VS Megatron.
Zamasu VS Hades (Saint Seiya).
Martian Manhunter VS Piccolo.
Caulifla VS Powergirl.
Moro VS Lord Tirek.
Gogeta VS Omnimon (Digimon).
Bardock VS Omni-Man.

So Vegeta potentially has the AP/durability advantage, but loses out in speed? Guess it evens out, unless they start upscaling Vegeta's speed like they did for the AP. Then it could turn kinda stomp-ish in Vegeta's favor.
I don't see any good counterargument for them to not apply the multipliers to Vegeta's speed as well.

If that's the case then Vegeta may either be close/comparable to, or a bit faster than Thor.

And in terms of versatility/hax, Thor had the edge but Vegeta does have a few abilities/techniques that could help close the gap.

Since DB doesn’t accept Multiplier wank their number for DBS speed is a tad below where they pegged Thor

Notable for having raw power and brutality
Ambitious generals attempting to rule the country
Arc System Works fighting game characters
Ocean punching vs Sky punching
Tall macho man
There also have similar ambitions of bring peace to their lands through force so to end their respective dark ages.

The nuclear fallout for Raoh, the Sengoku Period for Toyotomi.

There is nothing that stop them from just rectify that aspect, it wouldn't be the first time they change mind.

After all, with Beerus VS Sailor Galaxia they never apply any official multipliers for the God of Destruction, only for actually apply them later in Broly VS Hulk, and those two episodes happen in the same season.

Or what about Thor's speed, in Broly VS Hulk they say that Thor travelling to another universe was only in the quadrillions of times FTL, while in Doctor Doom VS Lex Luthor he was instead put in the quintillions of times FTL.

  • They killed their masters.
  • They are evil martial artists.
  • They are power hungry.
And that's it, Raoh vs Akuma have only that much for what i can see.

I don't see how you can say that had more connections compare to Raoh vs Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
Actually... That's not all
-They killed their masters
-They are evil martial artists
-They are power hungry
-They have a rivalry with their brothers (Toki and Gouken)
-Their brothers have a white beard
-They're the most iconic villains in their series
-They're very brutal
-They have a heaven motive going on with them (Raoh always talks about conquering heavens and the symbol on Akuma's back means "Heaven")
-Both use a martial art that is pretty much intented for killing people (Hokuto shinken and Ansatsuken)
-Both also have a rivalry with the protagonists that are pretty similiar (Ryu and Kenshiro)
-They can shoot ki out of their hands (Raoh's Tensho Honretsu and Akuma's hadouken)
-They can become intangible (Raoh via musou tensei and Akuma via... I forgot the name for that move, but you know what i'm talking about, right?)

DB doesn’t use the manga, as they think it’s not canon
They do however only if it doesn't contradict
Like Roshi UI and Goku Hakai are out of the question
Beerus UI was a fair Go given the Anime implied he can use it
There is nothing that stop them from just rectify that aspect, it wouldn't be the first time they change mind.
They could change it but Speed Multipliers are far more controversial in comparison to Power multipliers

Those 4 feel like pretty weak connections, but i can concede for the rest.

Although i still rather had Toyotomi Hideyoshi fight Raoh.

Given the highest speed feat Calculated was done by Whis speed multipliers could be messy where Strength Multipliers are far easier to digest
I mean, Zeno's best feat its about him be able to destroy the entire DB multiverse, which has only 13 universes, and i don't see people use that to debunk the Strength Multipliers.

Also this would be inconsistent with the fact that transformations, power ups or strength increases across the series has always made the characters faster as well, with only a few exceptions.

Doesn't Thor being a Skyfather now makes him straight up outstat Vegeta?
yes he does
which me makes me wonder does anyone have current info on Thor's Current run here

Well Multipliers makes it more how many times your above Universal Level
and Hulk vs Broly was done earlier in the season by the team where Beerus vs Galaxia was done after which is why they didn't bring up multipliers in that fight
idk i'm just saying why they would be hesitant to add multipliers to speed in comparison to power

Anyone reminds me how did Thor become a Skyfather?

Sometimes there are connections that matter more
Sometimes a chance for making some character out really matters.
Some people actually believe Hideyoshi Toyotomi vs Raoh is more interesting than Akuma vs Raoh
Like we can argue can Hideyoshi actually touch Raoh despite seemingly able to just overpower him
While Akuma vs Raoh is just... Boring.

It is not like we can find a worthy opponent for the Sengoku Basara warlord easily.
