Hi, i also make up more than 1% of Gunvolt's american VS debating fanbase
Gunvolt vs Quote exists
now, is it good? That is debatable.

From my experience, Gunvolt generally has three types of matchups:Oh okay, well I guess I'm just a doodoo head
I actually made the first one personally. The idea was that Gunvolt and The Rekoners had very similar worlds.I've seen steelheart, misaka mikoto, and Blake from rwby. Probably not very good matches
Tbh I like it more than Cuphead vs Hat Kid(Who have Frisk) or Cuphead vs Bendy(Whom I honestly don't really want to see in DB).While we're on the subject of indie game characters, is Cuphead vs Peacock (Skullgirls) a good matchup? I get that B.B. Hood is generally a more requested opponent for Peacock, but I think it'd be a neat matchup, as well as a way for us to get a hand-drawn fight without Death Battle having to sink in nearly the amount of money or effort (since the hand-drawn animations for both characters can just be lifted from their games).
BB Hood vs Peacock is one choice.Isnt B.B. Hood more better for her?
You know the episode is aggressively mediocore when the abridged parody released by Nemesis Bloodryche timed the "This power is like a god's, beneath me!" quote infinitely better.So... Yeah...
Perhaps, but it feels really weak in comparison to Lex's other fight. What are you talking about, Lex Luthor vs Doctor Doom slapped! Best 2D fight I've seen since Ryuko vs Shadow.
Lex's other fight is arguably the best the show has ever had....and even then I think I liked it even more. The weird powers, and memorable quotes, the FOOT DIVE!Perhaps, but it feels really weak in comparison to Lex's other fight.
As someone who never played Gunvolt, how was the "living alongside humans" thing handled? With RWBY, the Faunus (Blake's species) are outright discriminated against, not helped by the fact that groups like the White Fang exist (though they only became a terrorist organisation after a change in leadership and the belief that peaceful options wouldn't work). Granted, Blake isn't ACTUALLY the only one trying to change things for the better, but she's one of the main characters, so... yeah.Gunvolt and Blake both have powers that make them really good at dodging things and have similar rivals in Copen and Adam. They also want their respective groups to live in harmony with humans despite it feeling like they're the only ones that think so at times (At least this is what I can tell as a Gunvolt fan and someone that hasn't seen RWBY).
Well, there's a Batman wannabe who wants to kill all of them, a megacorporation that wants to control all of them due to believing them to be too dangerous, and Adepts are literally killed on sight in China and heavily discriminated against everywhere else (An Adept tried to become a baker in France and people burnt his house down and murdered his family when they found out he was an adept). As someone who never played Gunvolt, how was the "living alongside humans" thing handled? Also, despite being a somewhat consistent plot point, one of the main criticisms of RWBY is that they don't do a very good job showing the discrimination. Usually the most we get is a "No Faunus" sign on the front door. Legit, we saw Cinder go through more abuse in a single episode than the Faunus across the entire series.
Man, I went on a tangent, didn't I?

BruhDoesnt Hitler exist in Marvel?
Or better put, existed
Out of curiosity, what are the consensus on this battle?Cuphead vs Bendy(Whom I honestly don't really want to see in DB).
Wasn't golden age stories reconed into being war propaganda in the modern comics.Bruh

"Seems you were 2 seconds too late..."
So this is out on youtube now, clicked it in moments to check
It was pretty ok, some eh stuff on the lore, but it was like whatever regardless
Surprised they used a jap bio from the older games, but not really in the way i expected
The axe feat is like irrelevant (non canon as hell too) unless you would argue just early games
