Hey, a man can dream. Let's face it, the "Comic book heralds being locked to 4-B is bullshit espesially when the main problem with comics is power-scaling and not direct feats" way of thinking is growing exponentially. Us fixing our comic profiles isn't a matter of if, but when.

Someone just needs to give an alternative to the level of power in comics so the staff dosn't need to feat scale 90 years of comic book history. DC heralds probably would sit comfortably at Low 2-C, though Marvel heralds might be a bit more difficult (Though probably also Low 2-C judging by the universal Hulk feats seen in Hulk vs Broly alone)

You know something I kinda want from a fight? I want a fight where one character is clearly framed as the "hero" (They're pretty much the determinator the entire fight, slowly making the fight closer with transformations, etc...), and then they lose anyways. You could argue Venom vs Bane did something like that but Venom vs Bane is Venom vs Bane.
Basically think Iron Man vs Lex Luthor if Luthor won.

Ivy vs Orchid was when creep Boomstick was at it's worst.
Pikachu vs Blanka is boring, wrong and the death is way too brutal for Pikachu. The animation is decent by Season 1 standards, but that's not enough to save it imo.
It's really good, but the animation dosn't really hold up. It's the 3rd 3D animation in the show's history and it shows.
If there was an S- or A+ it'd probably be there. Both characters are played well and the ending is god-tier. Without that ending it probably would have been A, or even B.
Also, I might add that Chun-Li vs Mai has the single best ad in a Death Battle episode (Obviously excluding the shirt ad).

Standard wild Lv 100 character neutral Pikachu does lose to Blanka. It is only the specific Ash's Pikachu that can win. The problem is: the crew can never distinguish those 2 Pikachu in the first place.
And I look forward towards seeing Detective Pikachu vs Paramount Sonic.

Yeah I like the fight, and yeah it's not bad by any means.
It's just that it has the worst reasoning of any Death Battle ever. It completely relies on PIS, and it hasn't sat well with me all these years later.

We didn't get to that fight yet. The fight you're probably referring to was the Power Rangers vs Gundam matchup.
Eh, honestly it was kinda boring to me. Also, DB pretty clearly had a bias against one of the series.
Cammy vs Sonya was boring, but it wasn't offensively bad to me.
Toph vs Gaara had pretty solid chorography and voice acting (At least for Toph, idk about Gaara). The main issue is that the verdict was wrong. I would have put Mega Man vs Astro Boy in D, but I put it in C to prevent a double standard. Both Toph vs Gaara and Mega Man vs Astro Boy could probably be D tier.

Honestly though, the more brutal deaths for kid-friendly characters in earlier Death Battles just make them feel like Dorkly animations. Death Battle should, above all else, respect the medium the characters are from. Sonic's kill on Mario should be the hard limit IMO.
