DCEU General Discussion Thread

Like it's wild Gunn is super supportive of Zack and likewise but they'll roll up with "But James Gunn is a pedo, don't think about how he's personally apologized and disavowed those statements"
 
Also did a calc and Adam has MHS casually for the feat of flying to China(?). His feat of flying from the A.R.G.U.S Facility is worth noting too

In fairness you could make an argument but I’d say the Old Gods are relative to Supes, Sabbac and Adam with Fate being just behind them
 
In my opinion, the scaling goes like:

Zeus & Prime Ares > Superman, Adam & Sabacc > Fate

I'm not mentionning other Old Gods because they have basically nothing as feats except being slaughtered by Ares for the Olympians and nothing for the Egyptian pantheon. Maybe the Demon Lords are similar in power or even above.

Btw, I wonder how the daughters of Atlas will be used in the next Shazam movie. They seem to be pretty powerful and judging from the trailer, we might see Olympus itself (now imagine if the Greek Gods are still alive and we only saw aspects/avatars of them or they get resurrected during the movimovie)

Key Issues made a cool video on DCEU Superman and brought up some interesting stuff about him in Justice League specifically since it seems he gets much stronger and even faster after being revived by the Mother Box, thoughts on maybe reworking the profile to have pre and post-mother box keys?

no he begins to recover from it, he's clearly still a fair bit weaker when Batman smashes him through pillars and when Doomsday wrecks him before getting supercharged by the nuke. Even with the argument of stellar recuperation the simple issue is that Supes has clearly shown that he can operate under less then peak conditions after being healed by sunlight (since he's drastically fatigued in MOS and is far more grievously wounded in BVS). We also have to recognise there is no concrete statement Superman grew stronger in JL at all and it's really an assumption more then anything else and is outright countered by both cuts clearly presenting Supes as being > Steppenwolf even before his death

And this
I'm saying that while Superman starts to recover from the Kryptonite he's clearly weaker. He's harmed by things he's far above and he's treated as above Steppenwolf in both JL's. The Snydrr Cut makes this apparent with the Boxes knowing he'd beat them and Steppenwolf implies the same in the TC with the way he talks about the Kryptonian

Hahaha its the planetary superman video leaving out the fact that supes got disintegrated by the motherbox explosion but uses statements from batman saying he's "stronger than a planet" lol

That was from the SC which is currently non canon, the stronger then a planet thing is from the TC.
