Dabura Scaling

It hadn't come to me until the Broly vs Super Perfect Cell thread, but why is Dabura scaled to Perfect Cell rather than Super Perfect Cell?

- If we assume that he is on par with Perfect Cell, then Gohan would have been either mopping the floor with him or dead.

• Dead if he wasn't SSJ2 (As Perfect Cell can easily mop the floor with MSSJ Gohan, a weaker adult version would be child's play)
• Completely destroying Dabura if he was SSJ2: (Even with the 7 years, had he been SSJ2 Dabura would stand no chance, as shown by the fact that even a 50% extremely damaged SSJ2 Teen Gohan can defeat SPC, unless you wish to say that Gohan is literally leagues below his past self, in which case Buu would have accidently killed him in the process of their later "fight")

So all in all, the only scenario that makes sense that Dabura = SPC, as a weaker version of Teen SSJ2 Gohan should be around that level, and during the fight they were considered equal.

Goku compared Dabura to Cell, however Vegeta pointed out that Super Saiyan 2 Gohan was much weaker than his fight with Super Perfect Cell, this is why he is scaled to Perfect Cell.

SSJ2 Gohan near the point of the end of the Cell fight, was extremely damaged and stated he could only use 50% of his power and even then was capable of defeating SPC, so even if SSJ2 Adult Gohan was significantly weaker, it would be speculation if he was weaker than SPC.

There is also fact that Goku even says he is much stronger than he originally thought

Didn't Vegeta mentioned during the tournament something about Gohan's power being bigger than before?

I can't say. But as Darkmon pointed out, an immensely weaker version of SSJ2 Teen Gohan beat SPC, so it wouldn't be too far out to say that SSJ2 Adult Gohan isn't that far behind.

And Dabura took a beatdown from Majin Buu before turning into chocolate.

Yes, which again suggests that he's around SPC at least to have survived that, and considering the fact that Majin Vegeta also had a similar beatdown, it is consistent with what is shown and stated.

I feel like we are forgetting SPC is the one who broke Gohans arm in the first place.

And if you tell me Cell only inflicted that injury due to him saving vegeta, i'd tell you Gohan only killed Cell because he was distracted.

Also Gohan was beating himself up about letting his dad die. No way was he at less then half his power. Unless you think he would he kill cell with his power weaker then his mssj form. He also stated he didn't think Cell would return so powerful.

The last part of Gohan vs Cell was a bit Wierd Cell came back with an enormous power boost to ware even though he lost 18 and reverted back to simi-perfect Cell he returned as perfect cell but with more power then before.

Now Gohan did seem to doubt himself which made him weak as he couldn't withstand Cells attack without any damage but when he finally unleashed all of his power he obliterated Cell even if Cell was distracted by the others their attack shouldn't have do a thing similarly to how Gohan & Krillin's blast did nothing to freiza. which would mean Goham would haft to lose an insane amount of power to ware now his SS2 can only fight on par with a Perfect Cell level threat.

I all ways thought that Goku was talking about SP Cell so we would know how weak Gohan has gotten but I didn't think he would have gotten that much weaker.
