"............." Diana was silent for a bit.

"How about it, Diana? They wish to assist you, and are quite formidable. I can at least send them to help you." Velen said, "I ask for nothing in exchange."

Diana growled, "What I need is soldiers..." She heaved out.

"And while not all soldiers, they are formidable and versatile. I am sure that they can assist you while I work on locating the rest of the leylines, Diana." Velen said.

"......Grr....." She just growled once more, "If they wanna help... they've got a week to get ready..." She heaved out.
"Soldier or not... I don't have this because I've never fought." Kargath said, raising his Bladefist

"I'll start gathering scrolls and the like right away then, yes?" Khadgar said

Siglos took a shaky breath, before speaking up.

"...I...I can start forging some enchanted jewelry f-for your soldiers..." Siglos murmured.

"...I-it should...bolster their strength a bit...h-help them o-on the field. M-maybe allow them to use a...bit of magic, if t-they can handle it..." Siglos said, rambling a bit out of nervousness.

Diana cracked her knuckles a bit, her snake tail hissing lightly before she spoke.

"...Enemies come out and random, vary in strength, speed, size, intelligence, etcetera. Some are armored, some attack from range, some use magic, we've got no exact patterns. There's no prior knowledge to give. It's random, so bring anything you can that you think will help and bring a lot of it..." She heaved out.

Diana snarled, "...Don't chicken out..." She heaved out, dashing out of the hole in the wall she made in a flash of red light, leaving behind a small sonic boom in her wake.

Velen breathed out, repairing the hole in the wall. "Sir Alice can lead you to one of our rooms, Saffi. Forgive the inconvenience, everybody." He said, stroking his beard.

"Haaa..." Sir Alice sighed, moving up to Saffi. "As the Archbishop said, I will escort you."

"Oh, it's-" Just as Velen was about to speak, Sylvia pointed to the direction of the library.

"Over there. It smells like paper and ink." Sylvia signed, her nose scrunching up. "I was planning to go there to."

"Correct, Sylvia. Your senses are quite advanced!" Velen said, "It should be around the area she pointed to. Second door to the right."

"...Mrg..." Cain just got off of Sylvia, and Sylvia didn't question it, clearly planning to find some place to train.

"I... I should probably go train... I... hope you learn a lot, Siglos, Saffi..." Jeanne said, breathing out as she turned to find some place she could train as well.

Saffi followed Alice.

Saffi followed Alice.
(Based pfp.)

Alice led Saffi to a rather large room, definitely larger than the standard facility, which contained multiple books on magic and combat stacked alphabetically in various bookshelves that were lined up across the wall. Obviously, though, everything but the furniture and the shelves was golden, like the rest of the cathedral.

"Feel free to use this room as much as you like. If you need anything, feel free to ask me." Alice said, bowing.
"T-thank you Jeanne. I hope y-your training goes well, to." Siglos said quietly. He bowed, before glancing at Slyvia.

"...A-are you going to r-research sound magic...?" Siglos asked.
"Oh, no, I just like reading. I only know how to use Dark Magic, anyway." Sylvia signed.

"There is no need to thank me. I will be right outside the door in-case you need anything or are in danger. I move very quickly." Alice said with a smile, before moving out of the room.

(If your going to have Saffi read the book Alice gave her, do you want me to describe what she reads or do you wanna just make it up as you go? Lol.)

"Isn't there a problem that I'm going to look around here?" Noah asked Velen, since this place began to fill her with interest.
Velen, who was just standing there in thought, answered Noah after her words broke his chain of thought.

"Oh, feel free to explore and use our facilities for anything you wish, Ms. Noah. There's no problem at all."
Siglos glanced at Slyvia, visibly surprised.

"O-oh! I...didn't know you were a reader, Slyvia." Siglos said, flashing her a soft smile. Slowly he began to make his way to the library.

"...W-what type of books do you read?"
"Mostly books about civilization. How people live, how government works, how commerce and economics work. So that me and Cain could blend in without discrimination, since our clan's traditions can be seen as barbaric." Sylvia signed as she stood up straight, walking beside Siglos.

"O-oh! That's pretty interesting!" Siglos said, nodding.

"...S-so what do you think of the human traditions....compared to your own? I-is there a-anything you enjoy about it?" Siglos asked, genuinely interested in Sylvia's perspective.

"I don't particularly enjoy or not enjoy it." Sylvia signed, "Humans are far wealthier than my species combined, so, I guess I enjoy that I get to eat fancy food and sleep in beds and stuff..."

Siglos nodded in understanding.

"I-if you like trying f-fancy food. I could try cooking you some of the Everian dishes I remember sometime." Siglos offered, flashing her a soft smile.

"I usually only got to eat every few months or so... So I never had any favorites." Sylvia signed, both of them reaching the door to the library which probably wouldn't be fit Sylvia through.
Siglos gingerly lifted his hand up to Slyvia, offering to help her lean down if she needed help clearing the door. Though, because he was so much weaker, it wouldn't make much of a difference.

"I...I didn't know it was possible to go that long without eating..." Siglos said softly.

Sylvia just took her hands, put them on the doorframe, and then pushed outward, crushing the frame and widening the entrance so she could crawl through(Will provide description of library once you post, Midas).

"I've gone longer." Sylvia signed as she crawled through and stood up again.

Siglos looked up a the door.

"...A-alright, Slyiva." He said. He glanced back at her, flashing her a small, shaky smile, inwardly worried the Archbishop would be angered by the now partially destroyed door.

"...I'm going to go look around." He said.
The library was, as probably expected, rather enormous, spanning several stories tall with possibly millions of books lined up through a pathway of shelves that connected to each other, somewhat like a maze. Everything but the furniture was golden and had inscriptions in them just like the ones in the hallways.

"Alright!" Sylvia signed, smiling at Siglos.

"I guess eating food your not used to is... better than having no food at all." She thought to herself, shaking her head.
(I was going to improvise the book, but if there are specific details you envisioned for it, I'd like to get at least somewhat of a gauge of the original vision.)
(I don't have any particular details. If your fine with improvising, then go ahead, I was just asking what you wanted to do since it was your character.)

Siglos smiled at Slyvia, before bowing. Gingerly, he turned around, before scampering off deeper inside the library. Once he had gotten inside completely, he took off his hat, staring at the library for a few moments.

"...Beautiful..." He murmured. He looked around, entranced by the inscriptions that had been carved into such wonderful architecture. After at least a few minutes of examination, he finally snapped back into reality.

"...A-alright. I...I should get going." Siglos thought. Slowly, he began to make his way around the library.

"...F-first...I'll grab some books about crafting...Jewelry crafting, specifically. Then I'll search for books about sound magic..." Siglos thought to himself. He briefly wondered if Cornelius had written anything in this library. Picking up the pace slightly, he looked around at the books, trying to find anything the man could've written.

As Siglos grabbed the books, and assuming he read any number of them during that time or at least glanced at their pages, he would notice that they all had similar, nigh-identical handwriting, no, it was definitely identical, each of the books he grabbed seeming to have been written by the same author and yet it had no author stated within any of its pages.

Sylvia just got some books about cooking, wanting to see if she could try and cook something for Cain without burning it, and the intricacies of fine-dining seemed to intrigue her.

"Father used to always throw me in the cave for reading these... but I guess I can read books more freely now..." Sylvia murmured to herself as she began reading while standing up.

After gathering a sizable amount of books, most related to either enchantment or craftsmanship, Siglos moved back to where he saw Sylvia, taking a seat on a nearby piece of furniture. Idly...he began to flip through the pages, checking the contents to see what he could gain from the texts. However, as he glanced through them, he was struck by a sort of odd realization.

"...What...?" Siglos murmured. He put down the second book he had opened, and began to browse through a third, then a fourth. Sure enough...the writing was the same across all of them.

"...I...I wonder who wrote all these...they must've possessed a massive amount of knowledge." Siglos murmured. Suddenly, a thought struck him.

"...Was it...him?" Siglos thought. It would make sense, the man didn't seem like the type to mark his writing, and the patterns of the library's walls were undoubtedly similar to his work in the hall they had walked through earlier. He didn't know of any other renowned smith that worked with the church, either. A wide grin appeared on his face, his heart racing in excitement. Slowly, he opened up a book about enchanting, beginning to pour through the pages.

Noah walked around seeing and studying the structure of humanity, but she also thought to see how the army of this place was, if Diana believed that Velen had an Army here, then she wanted to see it, just for curiosity, maybe she can meet others Species like Dragons and dwarves

As Siglos flipped through the pages, he found that the language was immediately incomprehensible to him. While if he was any good at deciphering languages or runes, he would be able to tell it was indeed English, but, it was an extremely archaic version of English, completely different from the English that had been adopted by Humans and Everians over time.

The book that Sylvia was reading was also in the same language it seemed, which is why it looked like she was having trouble deciphering it.

There was a passing knight or two that Noah could see guarding various parts of the castle, but, most of them were either human or Everian. Though, it seemed that the numbers of Velen's forces were definitely larger before, given the number of living facilities and lack of people to occupy them.

Siglos's smile faded, his eyes narrowing as he stared at the pages.

"W-what...is this...?" Siglos thought. He could tell it was some kind of english...but he couldn't understand most of the words. Disappointment washed over him, and he said nothing for a few moments.

"...S-Slyvia. Do you understand your book...?" Siglos asked quietly.

"Not really." Sylvia signed, crouching down and scooching over to Siglos, getting close enough to the point that well, his entire body was being pressed against her, his head shoved into the side of her right breast without her even knowing.

"Is your book really hard to understand to?" She signed.
