bruh... you make it sound like there are ten different guidebooks or something. there are two IIRC.

one of them (officially translated) says boros is star level

the other one isnt even translated. in japanese, it says "hoshi" which could mean both planet or star.

so... what do we have here? one guidebook that states boros is (officially) star level

zero guidebooks that OFFICIALLY states boros is only planet level

i think its safe to say that we have far more evidence that boros is star level than planet level
 
Translations, official or not, can be inaccurate and can contradict the source material, which is what we go by.
 
"Officially" doesn't matter in translations, the quality of the translation is what matters.

One could argue non-official translations matter more since the translator is more likely to understand the context behind the guidebooks by the way.
