Baal, even if he really dies, will just be brought back via type 9, and he can stall his own death/Mortarion doing anything via chaos magic iirc

Baal has lost its bound with reality due a seal made by dozens of entities, he can't create an avatar nor use a vessel that fast, it would take centuries before doing it so. Even Omega, whose seals are weaker, has only able to project its shadow 3 times in 1000 years.

he can still stall Mortarion until he can negate his resistence and just EE from there

I don't think that the standard for type 9 is capable to recreate the avatar instantly once destroyed, I could be wrong.

Baal EE is kinda useless if he can't keep up with a being (with hax too) millions of billions of times stronger.

well, my idea was that unless Mortarion's poison and weapons resisted EE, Baal would EE them basically instantly and wear down his resistence

Baal's punches do not erase its target instantly, they decrease it defenses and increase the damage, wouldn't erase instantly useless it detroy part of its target something that isn't possible when its target is bazillions of times stronger.

Yes he have other type of OHK (or more like One Hit Erase) that could work, but I'm not considering Mortarion's hax into play; AP wise is a stomp, but I guess this is more a hax match.

yeah, the idea was that hax was the main thing in play

they both have powernull, but i don't think Mortarion is auto-bloodlusted like Kharn or Angron, while Baal probably is

Using chaos magic, Baal should be able to make Mortarion stall long enough to either null him or destroy his abilities and/or stats, which basically gives him the win

but if Mortarion does basically anything, Baal is dead. His regen that would let him survive takes a while and his type 9 takes centuries to work apparently, although Baal may be able to destroy Mortarion's poison and weaponry

Now that you mentioned it, in the 3rd Secret War Baal was capable to project itself in a short timeframe once he was "destroyed", but in that time he used to be stronger (its avatar) and the current profile refers him to the time of Gate of Memories, after being sealed.
