It's a passive ability once he activates it, and on this site specifically, he starts with it already activated.

No, at least we don’t accept that.
Since we literally have a key that requires it to be active, Yhwach’s almighty would be active automatically in his High 4-C-4-B keys, making it passive.
The passive parts of the power are the precognition and the powernull (as it’s a direct result of precog) the fate manipulation is thought based.

Arcker is correct on the fate manipulation part, my bad.
For some reason I was confusing passive with instant, since his fate manipulation is instant in the sense that whatever Yhwach changes happens instantly and is unavoidable, but Yhwach himself still has to decide what to change.

I am pretty sure he can rewrite his own future if he dies when his almighty is off but not sure if he can actually use it against others. Jugram planning the whole thing explains that.
