Badlands of The Post-Apocalypto Thread 6

Dammit dammit, i wanted to interrerogate that man, but with all the spatial nonsense happening it's better that i don't get separated from Quentima.

Ukyo follows the woman, creating ice platforms beneat his feet to reach the hole in the cheeling.

Nero gets up, dusting himself off as he does so

Why doesn't the group that has this base just give up. If the rest of the surrounding area is taken, there's no reason to keep fighting.

He walks towards the back entrance, stopping only to grab a gun from the body of one of the guards

@Paul: The only gun not totally destroyed is a rather nice looking weapo with a few clips of ammunition on the corpse. The soldiers surrounding the door look to you, one saying: "You want to go in first?"

@Phoenix: "It's one of the only oil reserves left. Someone found some records from a few hundred years ago and they've been mining it ever since."

@Dragon: "If you want to, we can. Otherwise they'll just occupy the base."

@Cavers: The path out leads to the surface, back in the middle of the forest.

"Stuff doesn't see as much use nowadays, though I suppose it still has some value." Corvus comments, looking around.

"People ever try steal this stuff?" He asks curiosly.

Nero secures some of the extra clips on his person, and checks the current magazine to see if it had a decent amount of ammo in it, reloading if not.

"I guess I'll go in first." He says, walking up to the door, and opening it, weapon at the ready

"Meh eh, you're overeacting, just get over it."

Ukyo responds, as he begins searching to see if he can spot again that ruined building.

The shack isn't anywhere in your sight, you're far from where you entered the forest.

@Dragon: "Alright, head outside then and tell one of the drivers."

@Phoenix: "Steal oil? Never seen anyone try."

@Paul: The door opens to a small hallway, a door to the left for the bathroom and a path straight ahead with a turn. It's empty of people.

Well, might as well check, can't hurt to be thorough.

Nero goes into the bathroom, trying to see if there were any targets inside

@Drite: Going west eventually leads to you finding a road that smells of oil. Coming east is a caravan with several barrels in their wagons.

@Overlord: North is more forest, it gets thicker and thicker as you head into it. You come across some wolves eating the corpse of a deer.

@Paul: There are sounds of pain coming from the men's bathroom.

@Dragon: The radio fails to acknowledge your nod. Ishmael stands up, hands behind his back and ready to follow.

Ukyo simply circles around the general area where the wolfs are, staying at the distance while keeping an eye on them.

@Phoenix: "Few deathbears, that's about it."

@Overlord: The wolves see you, growling but not attacking. Past there is a small clearing with a pond. There are a few animals drinking from it.

@Dragon: Passing your allies who have done nothing the entire time, 4 trucks pull up by the base and several men pour out, all armed and ready for combat.

"Is there anyone alive in there?" One of them asks you.

Corvus then takes out his map, looking for where he should be now and where the closest places of interest were, though he wouldn't know for sure if they existed still or not, pacing around the area in the meanwhile.

@Dragon: "Well, that can be organized. Get into the last truck and we'll send you back."

@Phoenix: The city of Fort Worth is to the west, along with a few "Secret caves"

@Paul: There's a man in the only stall, sitting on the toilet.
