Ainz and the Great Tomb of Nazarick are trying to conquer your favorite verse, how does this goes ?

Well they sure as hell would attack him head on so blitzing is very likely.
Assuming they can find him if he's dropped in a random forest. This isn't a battle, it's a strategic conquest. Also, Ainz has hax.

There's no one in the verse that would ally with him who could make much difference. Sure he could kill or rally all of humanity but none of the dragons are going to fall for his shit and they're the ones that can kill him before he can blink.

Or he could go invisible and hax them when they can't see him?

Pretty sure he can also turn corpses into undead that keep their physical stats too.

@Luci The demon lords, the true ones, and not the fake weak ones like freya and karion are not only strong but at least hundreds of years old, and are fairly intelligent, rimuru is totally bs though even if it's not head on, there is no way he could take over tempest without ciel picking up on it, and there is no way any of his subordinates would defect to nazarick or anything like that, rimuru's subordinates are like ainz's in the way they see him lol.

The labyrinth already makes tempest a bunch of money and is extremly high leveled, don't think nazarick is needed as a dungeon, nazarick trying to conquer the labyrinth though wouldn't end well for them, the only way to beat the dungeon is if you literally become one with it like zero and even then rimuru predicted that and let it happen, the floor masters will just resurrect even from existence erasure.

Ainz probably could beat yuuki, isn't doing anything to velda yuuki though.

Ainz becoming a true demon lord would be interesting though, assuming ainz doesn't do anything stupid like attacking tempest head on or demiurge doesn't kidnap anyone fron there, he could have his own country and will probably be left alone for a while, that is until his world domination plan is revealed, the other demon lord probably team up against him. So maybe instead of yuuki being the main villain it's ainz who is secretly plotting and the great tenma war arc is the demon lords vs ainz, would be interesting.

Yeah going invisible is really going to help when every character has Enhanced Senses and Clairvoyance and Extrasensory Perception out the wazoo

Tohru has sonar, enhanced smell that can detect shit coming from several miles away, and hearing that can detect shit coming from several miles away. Everyone else has similar hearing and smell; Kanna and Lucoa have magic detection. He's not sneaking up on anybody.

He's stealth is specificly made for stuff like that, and counters basic detection magic as well.

Again, he can just pull up a despair aura at all times, stop time, or do dozens of other stuff.

Ok but as the OP says he has no prior knowledge. And they don't walk around in their dragon forms so unless the random place he's dropped into is in their area he's not going to know there are dragons in the world. And if he is dropped near them well then they blitz and kick his ass even sooner.

You are not seriously arguing that someone hundreds of times weaker and even more than that times slower than the weakest character in the series is somehow going to conquer the world, especially when none of them are going to be swayed by his "charisma."

He has several scrying spells to that would help, or he could just wish for the info,

Yea I am. He can one-shot them, has stealth specificly made against enhanced senses and scrying magic, has time stop, and is willing to abuse anything he has.

So let's say he gets dropped somewhere near them. They blitz him and kill give several times over before he can think. Let's say he gets dropped at another end of the globe. Out of several billions of people he's not going to know that six are a threat to him. Once he starts killing or rallying a bunch of people, it's going to attract attention. At which point they blitz and kill him several times over. Let's say he goes invisible and tries to kill someone. Let's stretch even further and say he manages to kill one of them. Well then they immediately blitz and kill him, Lucoa rewinds time to before he killed the character at which point they just blitz and kill him several times over. There is no scenario in which he wins this.

He wopuldn't go out as a skeleton and say "**** ya all, become my minions or die".

He would likely go to africa and start there. Ad why would they kill him? He would be making thngs better there, and he would likely go for the ploitical conquering instead of anything else.

@AS

I see you didn't watch Overlord, as what you've written he'll do is completely OoC for him. Ainz's best strength is that he generally doesn't kill unless completely necessary and considers information the most important thing. The verse itself is about the tomb of Nazarick getting dropped in an another world and they try to conquer it, and despite the fact that in terms of power every member can solo the verse, he still plays carefully.

Because sooner or later they're going to wise up. They're no strangers to seemingly benign leaders who secretly seek to conquer. And if he starts in Africa, where there are only normal humans, he's not going to have his anti-senses and anti-detection shit up after a time. He's going to make his way to Japan eventually and they're going to sense something is up with this strange new leader and blitz him before he can react.

Btw, from the OP

"He has no previous knowledge of this world, but he has 6 months of prep before Nazarick is discovered.

Everyone is, ofc, in character. The win condition for Ainz is to become the supreme overlord of the verse, not to kill every character in it. Non violent resolution or incapacitations are fair options for Nazarick and its residents."

Six months should be enough time to find out about the possible existence of dragons, and he'd be wary of them as they were among the strongest beings back in his own world.

There are three actual humans in the verse who know there are dragons and they all live in the same prefecture and do a ''very'' good job of covering their tracks. He'd have to be dropped within miles of their setting to find out about their existence and he'd be dead at that point.

So they would kill someone who hasn't done anything wrong, doesn't want to really do much of anything too bad (he really doesn't care) and would be actually saving millions because he might be baad?

And again, unlikely worst comes to unrealistic worst, one of them can rewind time so nbd.

Anyway I've gotta go for a while but I may return for more verses.

@Celestial Pegasus Demon Lords vs Ainz? heh, I bet Leon's Purity Lord would be quite a bane for Nazaricans.

Velda Yuuki vs SuperBuffed!Ainz or Naza NPC that's stronger than Ainz. though, Rudra-bomb sounds like bad news if Stellar scaling is true...

Milim's dragon nova is a supernova, the perfected form of gravity collapse, same magic which was said that if continued any longer would create a small black hole, so yea stellar scaling is legit.

Velda Yuuki can also manipulate stardust which is why milim's dragon nova didn't do anything to him, but later on i remember there being some statements about velda yuuki having enough power to destroy the world or something, so he may be not just on the stellar scale but universal scale, just have to wait for the translations.

Yeah velda probs got another upgrade, as it doesn't seem like he has Origin magic right now.

Think the origin magic stuff is in 2-3 chapters, then it's rimuru being bfr'ed to the end of space-time.

But yea, another upgrade is likely which is why i haven't bothered to make a thread about the stellar upgrades yet.

In the end, Ainz is just a random teen in disguise.

Johan makes him and subsequently the entire tomb to commit suicide just by having an idle chat on a rooftop...

Uhhhh....ok but demiurge can just tell him to shut up.

Objectively false
Not really, his RL persona, Suzuki Satoru is a regular elemental grade school graduate without any friends or family. His role as Ainz doesnt take that fact about his true persona away.

90% it says he's a salaryman, though maybe I'm reading bad translations

And if his battle with Shalltear is anything to go by, he isn't exactly helpless in the brains department

He is not lacking, sure. But he lacks the foresight his Floor Guardians hype him up to have. It is the running gag that Demiurge or others explain the several layers of depth of Ainz plans they have deducted from the events happening without him having forged them in the first place. He is a tactician. A smart one at that. But he is not the greatest strategist.

His subordinates are also doing his bidding. And we know from the last Psychopath what Ainz orders his subordinates to do - stand aside, since they spark his interest. I refer to the Kingdoms Princess.

Meaning everything hangs and falls with Ainz. No one will interrupt the chat between him and Johan.
