Now, downplayers like to say because Mavis protected the island Acnologia is not island level. It's obvious that Acno has the power to destroy an island if he wished. If he has the power to rule the world why is an island even a problem for him?
 
Fairy Tail is downplayed here, I'm collecting scan pics, reading respect threads, and the calc group is doing 5 speed calcs for me, don't worry. Also Acnologia is just being scaled from Brandish, also it says at least so that would be island level (at least).

Yeah, Fairy Tail is downplayed almost everywhere. In fact it's downplayed so much I started doing research about and found that the characters are way more powerful than they are given credit for. Most of the downplayers I've come across have never read the manga and just follow their favorite reviewers on Youtube.

Which characters are you getting speed calcs for?

Believe me, Fairy Tail is downplayed. Acnologia is seen destroying the island, it is obvious he has enough power to destroy the island, yet people continue to say Acnologia can't even destroy an island.
 
Well FT is probably way stronger than what they are rated at here so i'd like to see if the feats they did in the manga are calced in order to possibly give them an upgrade.
 
Yeah Acnologias island lvl breath not being taken into consideration seems unfair to me.....but that's just me..the rest isn't that note worthy.
 
IIRC, there have been calcs that put Acnologia's Dragon Breath at City or Mountain Level...

Don't get me wrong, I'm a FT fan as well, of course I would love to see big feats from top tiers like Acnologia
 
I think Acnologias feat should be calc"d or something regardless .Especially given the fact that a proven weaker character is rated higher than him.

Can it be recalc then for a possbile higher level, Byakushiki? On Acnologia's Dragon Breath, i mean.
 
Since I suck at Physics, I'm not exactly a calc person, I just looked at some calcs on NarutoForum

Depending on scaling methods, there are calcs that put his roar at Megatons or Gigatons range.

I think it's best to let the calculation team of our site have a look
 
I did the calc , low end is 158 megatons (mountain level) and high end 2.9 gigatons (small island level)
 
Large island level??? she is rated as small island level and there are plenty of people that disagree with that.
 
oh, shes atleast 7-a, but i entirely disagree with the how we interpret the nature of her power and translating it into AP/DC

I don't understand why, AP means attack potency, meaning how strong their attacks are/what they can destroy. If her striking strength was mountain level that would be something to get mad over.
 
BTW, Gildarts and Laxus are AT LEAST city level (probs way higher CASUALLY) so one when of them or both fight August don't even try to fodderize his profile like the rest of the spriggan 12.
 
Would also someone add Immunity to Mind Manipulation to his abilities as it it was stated by F.Rogue that he can't be controled via his magic
