So, low-godly mentions you can regen as long your soul remains intact. High mentions that you can come back from your atoms/elementary particles. The thing is there's an in between to this. There can be characters whose soul can reform them using nearby matter if their body has been erased. This...
If the very concept of death itself cannot kill you, and this concept of death is a bigger concept of death than the concept of death who is a bigger concept of death than this other concept of death, does that grant the character who resisted it immortality type 5?
By the way these characters...
Basically, there can be various degrees of Immortality Type 2, as characters could survive lethal wounds but being killed by more severe ones and usually they die after the complete annihilation of their body.
That said, I think the page should contain this additional sentence under the...
"Victory Conditions: Death of the opponent, removing the opponent from the battlefield for at least one week (BFR), knocking the opponent out for at least one hour, or incapacitating the opponent by putting him in a state in which he can not harm the other fighter(s) for over a day, are to be...
So, lobo's regen is stated to be low-godly but here's the thing- isn't the best feat displayed by him regenerating from a pool of his own blood? That's low-high. What's the evidence for his low-godly?
Pretty much the title. I'm sure there was a question like this asked before, but might as well.
Let's say character A can regenerate from having his soul and mind erased, but Character B just denies or erases the concept of regeneration, immortality and reincarnation. As such, A is not able to...
The thing is I have tried to like research about the mid-godly stuff that listed on the profiles of gods, demons, etc but haven't exactly found any instance in the lore that actually has these feats. Especially the demons one, all I have seen is that demons if slain outside of the abyss will...
Can also be called "how to nuke an immortality nobody cares about".
To resume, I had an argument about Type 10 Immortality being removed or not, and ended up making this argument:
<<We already agree that having regeneration because of being 1-A is something which never was portrayed as a thing...
In recent times when I've been writing, I've been doing research into various characters on the VS Battles Wiki with numerous types of Immortality, and I've come to wonder... would it be possible for characters to have Types 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 Immortality? I've seen it happen with SCP-682...
DIO should have power bestowal (Regenerationn and immortality type 3, also he can grant a weakness to the sun). He can give it by his blood, or just implanting cells in the body of someone
Also, in the second link you can see that this immortals can't die by stands like the hand or bad company...
Apologies for the rather silly question, I'm assuming it's thanks to the Vampire Killer as its the weapon weapon they mainly use, but I can't remember an enemy that were outside the normal concepts of life and death in Castlevania. I can certainly remember think of many possible examples of all...
Is higher regen neg superior to lower regen feats per se?
For example Character A has Low-Godly regen but works in 1-B scale and Character B has High-Godly regen neg that negates on Low 1-C scale. Can Character B negate Character A's regen?
Sorry if this question makes no sense I'm kinda new here
Something that I should bring up is, well... What if someone is CURSED to be immortal? Normally, people on this wiki would claim that curses qualify for Type 8 Immortality, but here's the thing. Curses aren't anything people normally RELY on when we consider the definition of rely:
Rely: Depend...
The main CRT for the Archie Sonic Revisions are here: https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/3917891
This is a Contact Revision Discussion on a particular ability Archie Sonic has, his Immortality. Since the main discussion is covering a lot, A lot, I thought it be easier if we can discuss them in...
according to the immortality page it says
Transcendental Immortality: Characters whose true selves exist independently from the plane where they can be killed.
How can this immortality be extinguished?
1) killing the false being and the real one at the same time?
2) turning off the...
What type of immortality would you need to live the "end of the universe" without dieing at all. I know of only two (type 1 and 5) with self sustenance (all types)
Rory should likely have Type 2 Immortality, seeing as another apostle considered being buried as torn-up pieces or being fed to beasts to be "imprisonment" rather than fatal outcomes. Both of those should count as evidence that apostles do not die even when suffering from normally fatal injuries...
Well, for a while I have been wondering, how do you kill a being with Type 5 Inmortality.
The page states that they are: "Characters who exist unbound by conventional life or death, or do not exist at all, and thus cannot be traditionally killed. Typically, abilities such as Existence Erasure...
So, can anyone point me out some characters who have both high godly Regenerationn and type 5 immortality AND have not been permanatly killed off in their series.
Ukog is near Yogiri, but his soul and mind are in limbo outside multiverse. Ukog can regen as long his soul and/or mind exist.
Can Yoghurt kill him?
BTW: Ukog has type 1 and type 2 acausality.
so seth just got revealed for SFV with an unexpected new look and i figured we might as well fix up his profile a bit, here are the power additions i think should be added on his profile.
Information Analysis (Can gain info on his opponent by grabbing them)
Shapeshifting (Shapeshifted into...
The Numidium has Type 3 Immortality listed on its profile but has no Regenerationn of any kind listed, after a quick talk with Ultima it seems the Type 3 should be removed.
So thats what im here to propose, the removal of the Type 3 from its profile.
Votes
Agree: 7 (Ultima (Agreed on discord)...
In a couple debates lately I've run into people with conflicting opinions as to the exact definition of Type 2 Immortality.
Resilient Immortality: Characters with this degree of immortality can survive injuries that would otherwise be lethal to a normal person, without needing to heal from it...
if someone with immortality type 2 gets hit by a attack that they say should have killed them, but they don't die
Now does that attack scale to their durability or a immortality feat
I want to talk about an issue regarding the interaction of the SBA and Type 9 Immortality (or similar abilities).
According to the Standard Battle Assumptions Characters start at most 4 km away from each others.
That means the characters themself are within that range. Not just a drone they...
If Rayman's "lived for over 100 years without changing physically or mentally", shouldn't that be type 1 Immortality? Also, if he can regenerate from ashes, wouldn't that give him type 3 immortality?
Ms. Fortune should have Types 2 and 8 immortality alongside Type 3, for being able to survive her head being detached, and her immortality being dependant on her Life Gem.
It's been debatable whether or not Hellboy is truly immortal. However, throughout the comics, he's shown to survive numerous situations that'd normally kill any other human, such as gunshots, impalement, internal organ loss, limb amputations, explosions, and so on. Media has also stated Hellboy...
I'll put it simply: Do we assume beings with Inorganic Physiology to have a lifespan or not? There is good reason to assume organic beings to have a limited lifespan. But what about those who are not? Shouldn't they possess Immortality (Type 1) by default?
Take Shishou, for example (don't mind...
Ok so yet another small CRT from yours truely... yay
Anyway here we go.
Revision
"Power Nullification (Most notable with Regenerationn, as he is able to destroy his foes in every sphere of existence. Destroyed Horus' soul to such a degree that even the Chaos Gods, who can cause concepts such...
Character A is killed by Character B. Character B then completely devouers all of Character A's body and absorbs Character A's power and "essence" simultaniously. Some months later Character A "comes back", seperates his power from Character B and returns to exactly as he was before dying.
Is...
Something I'm curious about, and I haven't really found an answer to, is how exactly is type 9 Immortality treated in vs battles?
In the sense that, if canonically the "higher form" doesn't really care, if you kill their avatar for instance and they would kinda give up and wouldn't immediately...
Pretty much title. I understand most of the concepts in this wiki but I still cannot understand those 2. If anyone could enlighten me it'd be appreciated :)
A certain character lost his existence because people forgot about desires. But that character is shown to continue existing some time later.
Does this meants that the character is reliant on desires and have Mid-Godly regen?
