    First off, it's called Hanzi, not Kanji.

    It didn't mention any weapons. The third clause mentioned a fleet of military/army ships, so make sure to add that to your sentence.

    An accurate translation should be: "A beam of coruscant light swept across the sea; vaporising the seawater and ice glaciers in front of it, as well as the fleet of ships that couldn't flee in time."
