Apologies for any bother. If you find the verse or the user who made the calc disreputable, I feel that I can understand opposing it.

I've noticed that this calc, which received an Evaluation Request in the Calculations Evaluation Request Thread, & has gone unanswered for over 4 months:

This is what Ugarik said regarding water resistance:

"The force in newtons is calculated as F = 0.5*A*c*p*v^2, where
A - cross sectional area
c - drag coefficient
p - water density
v - velocity
This is only the pressure term, it should be used if the speed is much higher than the critical velocity.
You should use a different formula if the speed is low, but I don't know it"

So use this when calculating water calcs
