Noelle Holiday and the downgrade of Snowgrave

Alright, one of the things that has always puzzled me about Deltarune is the 8-A+ calc that Noelle Holiday uses.

It assumes that Noelle has created out of nowhere a cylinder made of solid ice, when it is explicitly a blizzard made of snowflakes, which passes through Berdly.

If it was made of literal solid ice, it wouldn't pass through Berdly's body for obvious reason, but lift him in the sky.

The best way is to use the ice creation method out of thing air for the block created on Berdly's body, like here.

Edit: @Psychomaster35 did a recalc, and the result is now 8-C.

By the way, it better to upgrade Noelle's range and recalc IceShock.

It freezed most of stop car puzzle and mouse puzzle. It complete solid ice. It will upgrade her severely.

you should probably just post these in the calc request thread

the freezing of berdly, the actual snowstorm, and the various puzzle freezings

To be fair, I think that Noelle freezed whole traffic and puzzle system with only 1 normal IceShock.

And it's a lot.

Oh yeah, I was getting into a recalc soon. As for her freezing the puzzles, they don't really seem to be that impressive considering how all the sprites are simply recolor in blue hues implying the ice layer is thick.

It doesn't freeze only 1 puzzle

It freezes ALL puzzle system in whole Cyber World location

With the traffic light system and etc

It at least will get her to 8-C

Yeah, iceshock really needs a recalc due to how much it freezed

I do not think freezing a car is really impressive to be honest lol.
Not a car.

I'm talking about whole puzzle system and the traffic light system of the dark world with a single iceshock.

That's just... Covering a metallic object with ice. It's not impressive as freezing bodies.
Objects*
It's more impressive than just 1 body.
Try to freeze all traffic light system in your whole town with a single blast

We can try to calculate the change in temperature of a traffic light system and multiply it for each one that was frozen.

There's no evidence for her doing that all at once lol.

The context suggests more she did one per time.

And besides this is derailing, the main topic is to change the 8-A calc.

What context, even if you use Iceshock on a single enemy that area would still appear to be frozen.

And who said this? It's clearly shown that she nuked the puzzle with a single blow, making all system getting wrecked up and frozen.

Every ice shock is followed by a special sound, but, if everything is works as you say then she wouldn't even disable the puzzle at the first place for a lot or reasons.

As far as the whole IceShock situation, I got to agree with Strym. Just covering a number of objects in an unquantifiable layer of ice isn't that impressive.

Noelle can cover in ice every object in this room with one attack, now I don't know exactly how the town got frozen when Noelle was attacking random enemies from afar, I think she is just so powerful that her ice spells freeze everything in the vicinity.

Yeah but metal still does not have a freezing point like human bodies. It's still solid, no matter how cold you make it.

This is why is not that impressive compared to snowgrave, which is 8-C at bare minimum.

Maybe her ice spell just offed all system with a single blast.

The thing is, it's in a thick ice, so it's more about amount of producing ice I guess.

But hey, isn't frozen sprites a bit thicker....?
Yeah, but is still unquantifiable, and at most we get a 9-A from this, given that would logically work on other enemies.
I can't prove a negative. There's 0 evidence of her freezing an entire city's systems in one shot just because she did with a small puzzle.
White album has a high 8-C feat for doing literally that
Where is it then?

oh wait, anyway I think you're right, we won't get a higher 9-A than 0,07 tons of what we got now.

Even if it gets, it will maximally clip into 0,10 or smth like that

Oh wait I ****** up a little myself.
She nuked the system right after this puzzle, when she got to "I LOVE MOUSE", it all gone and all traffic light are permanently freezes from what I can tell.
Where is it then?
I wonder too

Yeah but nothing says she didn't do that gradually.

But can we focus on the ******* 8-A CALC JFC?

We wasted all this time despite the issue was another one.
