Iirc the satellite lasers are just energy beams fired from lighting so they shouldn't be that hard to avoid.

Iirc Lightning might have been a racer longer than Scout has been a mercenary but I can't find the numbers to back this up.

You're joking right? Racing is not even close to being comparable to fighting skill. Since Scout is one of the nine best mercenaries in the world, he would have to outclass thousands of different people who have been training for decades in both weapon mastery and martial arts. Lightning Mcqueen was vaguely one of the best racers in the world, which isn't useful in a fight since scout consistently weaves and dodges projectiles, and was getting his ass handed to him by the time he was in his 40's.

We don't know, but we do know that he is better than people who have been training and fighting for multiple decades, and is able to roughly match his fellow member on the team, who each have a couple decades under their belt.

Maybe, but that's on you to prove they are as skilled in fighting as they are in racing.
