Biology. The person questioning Kubo is indicating biology with the use of that language. I’m not asking for what you believe in, just what you think the term means in the context of the statement made.
The second part of “Maybe Yumichika could’ve just been provoking Giselle” implies that Yumichika would have been lying about what he said to Giselle to provoke her. And the statements he made about Giselle were purely in reference to her biology. Further indicating the question is in reference to Giselle’s biology
If this was the case Kubo would never at any point refer to Giselle with female pronouns. He would only refer to her with exclusively male pronouns. He would never refer to her with female pronouns when talking about her at any point. But he does so maybe you don’t know what Kubo thinks?
Kubo was talking about Giselle’s biology in that question, that’s no indication of what he believes her gender identity to be and literally even in all the novels Giselle is still referred to as female by all the characters around her. So I don’t know what you’re talking about.
I accidentally deleted a section and it resulted in that.
But the author didn’t say otherwise since the question was indicating what her biology to be. What her biology is and what her gender identity is are two different things so Kubo can still make that statement and Giselle still be referred to as female. Also what happens if the majority of the characters around them in the majority of instances refer to them as X, why should I take the opinions of one over the majority people more closely associated.
You know she could just be mad that they misgendered her right? Her reaction of being angry could be that.
This doesn’t make any sense. Kubo is Kubo regardless of which medium he is in or who he talking to. He’s still the same person so when asked a question about bleach his statements are still valid.
Also if Kubo believed what you’re saying then he wouldn’t be using female pronouns when talking about Giselle. The fact that he does so clearly means he identifies Giselle as female.

It's asking if Giselle is a male or female. Not if Gisele is a trans male/female and Kubo flat out says Giselle is a male.
When did Yumichika say I'm only talking about Giselle's biology? He didn't. He's talking about in general that Giselle is a male.
What do you know what Kubo thinks? All I have going for my view is the evidence presented. It's basically Occam’s razor, you got to jump through 5 hops to get Giselle as a female while only 3 to get Giselle as a male.
Show where he stated that he was talking about Giselle's biology in this? Don't have the novels or the raws for them so no comment of those.

Or you know Giselle got called out for sick acts and can't defend themselves so they go straight for the attack which is shown in every instance Giselle gets called out iirc.

If Kubo believe that Giselle was a female he would have said Giselle was a female to that question not a dude. He wouldn't have also had info for Giselle and Co at the end of chapter 615 which I posted above.

You were the one who made the claim of what Kubo thinks. And I said if he believed in what you claimed than his actions do not align with what supposed belief. And here’s the thing, I don’t have to jump through any hoops for anything in determining Giselle’s gender. Since there’s no hoops for me to jump in the first place. You on the other hand have to jump quite a few hoops to get to the position you are in now.

Which is also every instance they are misgendered. So all those instances can be the cause of her being misgendered.
Why does one have to be right over the other? They’re not mutually exclusive claims nor are they contradictory. So neither one needs to be taken over the other. Kubo is referring to her biology in the most recent one but he identifies her as female and uses female pronouns when addressing her. These two statements can exist simultaneously without being contradictory towards each other.
You having to disregard his statements at all is you having to jump through hoops to get to the position where you’re at.
Why would he say Giselle is biologically female? The question was in reference to her biology so why would Kubo answer with anything other than her biology. If Kubo identifies Giselle as a male then he would use male pronouns when talking about him, but he doesn’t, he uses female pronouns. Which means he identifies her as female.
