Cool. I would support scaling. Also, if we enter into headcanon territory a little Metal Knight has several other scalings to multi-continental. It is almost impossible that he didn't notice the after-effects of "god" blast and serious punch but despite this, he didn't interfere. That's because he is worried about some greater evil and is preparing himself against that which means he puts himself above those feats. Also, Wave Motion canon isn't King's only continental move. It is believed he punched the moon which is Saitama's jump and it is calculated as multi-continental as well. This is webcomic content though.

I don't necessarily think it's an outlier, as I said before, I'm just saying Quangotjokes' suggestions are just to mask something that could be perceived as an outlier otherwise.

On another note, 'literally no anti feats or contradiction' doesn't mean there's anything close to some feats even from characters who make these people look like tadpoles in a stagnant pond.

Better question, where even are all the other light-speed feats?

All I remember is Sub-Relativistic Post-Alien Conqueror Genos (via barely dodging G4's lasers at range), HE's energy bs (which can only be vaguely interpreted as having potential LS implications, at best), the mistranslation from Flashy Flash, and an incorrect Boros calculation.
 
Genos's feat, HE(possible), Orochi blitzing AC before he couldn't even sense even though he could ultra instinct light speed lasers, atomic feat, Boros feats, flash being heavily implied. All I can think of off the top.

Well I was referring to the one you mentioned dodging the lasers from G4.

The chapter where he eats him.

Boros kicking saitama near the speed of light, and can catch up to him after launching him. If we accept that at least.

Just the various light speed stuff mentioned for him.

Oh, sorry, I saw that as AS (Atomic Samurai).

I suppose that's something, if applicable (notably, Saitama was covered in friction dampening energy, which would vastly increase his speed). Although it's a vaguely FTL for a character astronomically above everyone except Saitama and maybe Tats/PsykoOrochi.

That was a mistranslation.
 
I see I see, just seems like they're starting to add up is all lol.its too bad opm has only stated speed like twice in general.
 
Found the translation.

Apparently it's stated that Flash achieves victory at light-speed in the databook. But, then again, it's also stated that he's the fastest S-Class in that databook (not including Blast, due to his vague abilities). So, that'd also mean everyone else is slower than light (I'd argue AS is an exception, though, since he's based on combat speed). Also, as Mat points out, there's plenty of this stuff.
 
Hmm couldn't it also be argued that that's referring to his casual speed as well? He very rarely goes full speed. Likely going to be retconned in the next few chapters also tbh.
 
Either that, or he can't sense Orochi.

Ok, I found the problem. Someone mistranslated that last line of the first sentence to say he's the fastest.
 
I'm pretty sure Orochi used about the same level of speed, if not more, against Garou compared to when he blitzed the roach.
 
Isn't Awakened Cockroach generally overly boasting and overconfident? Why wouldn't it be hyperbole?

Or he's just not like Genos in any way, which is likely. Remember, this is the guy who already gave up on pretty aspect of humanity before becoming a monster.
 
Didn't AC lose his legs before Orochi ate him? That would make his speed much lower than normal which makes Orochi's feat invalid since it is possible that AC sensed and perceived Orochi's attack but just didn't manage to escape.
