No, I probably wasn't an OPM fan at the time though since it was likely a case of recency bias and I only became an OPM fan like 2 years ago which Suiryu should have existed for a bit longer than that

Lol, reminds me of when people where saying vomitted Fuhrer Ugly can beat any dragon level threat and when there were people debating Psykorochi/Tatsumaki Vs Boros and how either side said Psyko or Tats/Boros neg diffs.

Speaking of Suiryu why did he get downgraded to low 7-C? I though he was High 7-C based off of statements? I can see him being downgraded to low 7-C, possibly High 7-C, but just low 7-C seems like a bit much unless I'm missing something.

Him scaling to Garou was through a videogame. Which ya know, they're not actually phsyically fighting each other. he also did downscale from Bakuzan, but that was agreed to be PIS

Yeah, that's the OPM sub reddit translation. IDK what the official translation says.
Edit: I tried looking on the OPM wiki to see if it said anything, but it didn't say anything about the statement. Instead I found that Suiryu only entered the tournament after seeing Garou who was in disguise fight. He though he was a worthy opponent.

??? After the ending of the redrawn in chapter, the chapter where Fubuki blocks the blast comes after it so that means both events happen
