Well anyway, first method uses Oars, the other one uses a ship width. Oars is stated to be 60m and the ship is calculated using a different character with a stated size.
Oars method uses one scan to reach the final value (inner bay), the ship method uses two.
Oars method has some size inconsistencies, the ship doesn't afaik.
CGM should decide.
