  • They're both scientists who believe the best way to save the world is to kill those they perceive as endangering it.
  • Copen also speaks of God often (Copen talks about God more in the 8-4 translation of Gunvolt 1 than anything else, but he still talks about god often elsewhere), while Jebus' religious symbolism goes without saying.
  • Both also use technology to gain outright supernatural abilities, but still prefer to use a trusty sidearm over them.
  • Each also have a piece of technology that is used by one or more antagonists to great effect (The Auditor and Tricky use The Halo while Asimov uses the Boarder (Specifically the Greed Snatcher bullets)).
  • They also both started as major enemies to the protagonists, but eventually became more like unfriendly rivals and even became protagonists themselves for a time (Jebus was the main protagonist of Madness Combat 8 while Copen is a major protagonist in Gunvolt 2)

Hmm interesting, just seemed strange at first, but now that you’ve explained it, it’s not as strange
 
Surprisingly iori vs kazuya is 2nd option, hopefully that makes it, it will finally introduce a kof original character rather then one who made its way from somewhere else

Nemesis vs Pyramid should be the next RE match, also introduces silent hill, was a community fight as well

Huh, I see, I guess maybe Cartoon Network shows don't really have longevity compared to spongebob, but i guess they don't really need it as they are good how they are
I'm guessing the longest running show is TTG so now Spongebob has to fight them

Like people really do not know why they want Albert vs Kazuya (or, they do not like it at all but they are cycling their opinions among themselves)
But Iori vs Kazuya is actually more debatable
