I mean, it's generally fine with most characters, but kid-friendly characters shouldn't get their head bitten off and their body stuck into a blender.

Death Battle is legally intended for young adults so deaths and killings are inevitable.
Like kid friendly cartoons still have killing scenes right? Or they will have Twilight Sparkle style deaths like corpses fell into pits or ocean and are not even seen? ... or complete corpses with cross-shaped pupils maybe? Or straight out atomisation? (Pokémon does have fainted - not dead - monsters with swirl pupils. Pokémon characters which are meant to be killed straight - which is super rare - are vaporised or fallen into deep pits or ocean depths.)

Wesker is not that far from Ada or any other normal human protag or co protag in power, meanwhile Kazuya to Anna is by all things included, so the girls gap is lower then the boys, plus as said latter has a hax stomp too thats it not even funny, the former is mostly even out on that department

Both are major characters in their respective series who have some inhuman blood (Iori having Orochi blood and Kazuya having the Devil Gene). Both can tap into this inhuman side to activate a super form of sorts, as well. Both's mothers also died when they were extremely young (Kazuya's mother was killed by Heihachi early on and women of the Yagami family are cursed to die in childbirth). They're also rivals to the main protagonist.

Also both Kazuya and Iori allied with their rivals to stop other treats temporarely, Kazuya with Heihachi against the Jacks and Iori with Kyo against Orochi
