Since Shadow got himself redeemed from the dumpster fire that was Mewtwo vs Shadow, I've been looking into alternative opponents for Mewtwo if he ever came back. The main 3 I've found so far are BlackWarGreymon, Zero and ... Magneto (?)

Count your blessings as Megatron (IDW) is pit against Frieza instead of having Frieza fighting Mewtwo another time.
Since Gwen (League of Legends) is recently introduced to LOL, Luis Cruz is asking if Gwen can fight Ryuko. While personally I think that Nui Harime, Shuppet (as Banette or Mega Banette) or Minette (Shukufuku no Campanella) is a better opponent.

- Both had dreams of joining the 'military' of their verses, their goal to become the best of the best
- These dreams stem from being inspired by the protectors of their world, Ruby's being her family members
- Their goal is to exterminate Grimm/Titans until there is none left
- Parent issues (Mommy do be dead/gone from the picture, and Eren's dad)
- Both gain their powers from their parents (Silver Eyes from her mom, and Grisha's experiments gave Eren titan shifter powers)
- Setting works for both
- 3D Maneuver Gear works well with Ruby's semblance
Possible connection (If Ruby goes on the deep end):
- Lost those who were close to them/grew distant from them
- Learn how cold the world is and how it truly works
