It is the same punch.
It's a little bit different, because we saw it shattering glass and tumbling over rumble on the surface like it was at least a magnitude 5 earthquake. If we determined Saitama were a kilometer or two below ground and he were producing earthquakes on the surface, it would give somewhat different results.

ENW looks massive, will CE's "fight" with him also be different (he reacted to ENW's beams before so maybe he will dodge them lol)?

I'm a little let down it was a redraw, but not surprised. Seems like Murata is still following that plan we hypothesized for him earlier, where he'll do all the cadre fights before Orochi. Including ENW and Nyan. That way season 3 could include all of that while still climaxing on the Orochi fight

Anyways, what do you guys think ENW's disaster would be just judging by the last chapter?

The mercenaries may have demon strength, but they should only have tiger-level reflexes judging by all their other interactions. I think He looked like an above demon in this chapter, given how the mercenaries were able to dodge some attacks (so speed's not definite dragon) and Iaian was able to redirect the beams at a cost.

Either way, I wasn't particularly impressed with ENW in this chapter stacking him up against other dragons. Maybe ENW wasn't hitting them that hard because they didn't have killing intent or something?

We know that ENW reacts to emotions and when it realizes Mercenario's murderous intent, it hits him without being able to react, so it seemed more like it being moderate

Rereading the chapter, I actually do like this intro for ENW. The key monster was great, could we make a profile for him? The sheer size of ENW, the death of the key monster, the way ENW forces the door open, how ENW slaughters Tongara- the way ENW keeps chasing them. Nvm he's still pretty scary and impressive.

Also, few things. Bushidrill gets a neat little 8-C feat when he collapses that huge hallway (several stories tall). Tongara killed one of those giant monsters, presumably a tiger, with one kick. Gearsper managed to effectively use C class level TK without having to get torn open by Nyan. Mizuki did get a pretty impressive TK feat, it seems like it could be class 10-50 with a concrete pillar of that size. Saitama's punch caused the equivalent of a stronger magnitude 5/ weaker magnitude 6 earthquake. If he knocked that's pillar down, it's def a magnitude 6. IDK how much the hollowness nerfs it, but causing magnitude 5-6 earthquakes 1-2km above you while underground is higher end nuclear stuff irl.

Nyan scales to her since she couldn't budge him while he was standing still.
Nyan is currently class 25. I don't support making him Class M like other dragons since he uses his powers to actively avoid heavy lifting.

why do we scale characters through hero classes and threat levels again?
Because if a demon is demon via their physical characteristics, they will be stronger than the strongest tiger (unless that tiger was misclassified). And if a dragon is a dragon because of their physical characteristics, they will be stronger than the strongest legit demon. And so on. It's been emphasized that the difference between the threat levels is a big tier difference and that heroes have to be capable of defeating a certain level of threat to merit their class.

Do you have an alternate system you were thinking of?

Chill guys, you can make your own cases about which cover images are better without making the discussion personal. The moment we go after each other's intentions, we're never going to get the change we want, only mutual hostility.

What about the Hero classes? Why do we scale every "physical fighter in the A-Class" to Large Building level+ based off of Spring Mustachio's rapier?

That's a good problem you point out, most tiger levels aren't even High 8-C. The A-class heroes are going to get downgraded soon, mostly to 9-A (stronger than wolf level threats). Only heroes that are as strong as Kombu Infinity/the sky folk, will be High 8-C, 8-B.

I thought the redraw was pretty cool, I think it's an improvement over the first one. The part where one of the narinki squad members sacrifice himself was a good moment

your image literally shows like half of the character. full body renders are better than random manga panels that show a small portion of the character
And ? We can totally see the Deep Sea King and its appearance, the image you want to use is horrible.

totally? objectively you're wrong. totally would mean that we can see him in its entirety. we can FACTUALLY only see a portion of him. how is my image horrible when its literally the definition of a clean high quality colored render over your awfully cropped amateur like images with literally sonic blocking a good percentage of the image? explain

If you wanna argue about images, take it to the message walls pls. That or we put this to a vote, all of us
