Lookism speed calc issue

This is the current calculation. This is a recalc which also got accepted. The reason why I think latter one is better is written in the blog (in short, it's a timeframe issue). Since there are 2 accepted versions, this thread's aim is to decide which one should be used.

I've always had an issue with the first one's distance travel because it used a tiny point of reference (the eye) instead of a bigger point of reference because I know that was discussed in a recent-ish thread as that causes overinflated calc's. Also that would make the red head's arm 3 meters long. Though I don't know if you can evaluate/choose between the two calc's but this has kind of been put on hiatus for a while.
