Could you take a look at this? It only needs 1 more vote.

I can't speak for the entire FC/OC team but I myself have been pretty against a lot of the stuff that FCOC currently indexes and as I said we're currently conversations to try revising the site and its standards.

It's been difficult with a change of bureaucrat and small staff though. Site is a bit of a mess right now.

As for the Jeff the Killer thing, I'd rather it not be there but, again, currently in discussions.
Fair enough.
But I will say I don't know why we're comparing the Backrooms internet series to someone's fan fiction roleplay lol. Those are completely different subjects.
Because they're both collaborative internet fiction. Multiple people are coming together over the internet to create a story. Since that's the only real connection I can see you drawing between SCP and the Backrooms.
Sorry, I got the impression that you thought FCOC was just a place for fictions that don't make certain vsbw criteria, when that's not really the case...
Certain criteria? Sure. I've already gone there for series that weren't allowed on vsbw, and believe I'd be able to place others there if the tides changes on them staying on vsbw.

ofc they've got their own standards to complicate things, and they're not likely places for works that fail all criteria vsbw has. Still, as far as I'm aware, most media that wouldn't be allowed on vsbw due to lack of notability, or due to being fanfiction, would be allowed on FC/OC.

So characters that are from fiction that's considered too obscure to be allowed on vsbw wouldn't qualify for fc/oc since it wasn't created by one of its users? I wouldn't be able to move this page over once Ant's crackdown on less-popular fiction goes through, but I would be able to make pages for the Pokemon/MLP-centric comics by the same creator?

That seems pretty weird to me. Like the "FC" and "OC" aren't cohesive parts of a whole, but just two random bases of media.

I should say that is mostly just my personal opinion with it comes to original stuff. I don't really want a lot of non-user-created pages flooding the site and obscuring stuff that is user-created. Because I mostly see the site as a place for personal fictions over all else.

Though it also just depends. There's yet to be concrete standards. Atm we're kinda just doing a staff vote on what individually should and shouldn't be allowed. Like for SCP, we all didn't want it there.

It's... complicated.

Fair enough. I'll be interested to see the conclusion y'all come to!

Hey, man. Sorry to bother again. Can you take a look at this CRT when you have a minute. It's short this time around. Thanks in advance.

Question: when SCP verse is removed there is anyy plans to migrate all the profiles to one of the sister wikis?

okay, final question, what will happen with verses like
Mr. Bambu
Mr. Bambu
Same fate, I think. Less notable, probably doesn't have anything akin to what SCP has, but still just as much an issue in theory.

I see, there is any sandbox alread being made to keep the SCP profiles? I was the one saving all the profiles from FNAF so they could be erased to be remade better and I remenber the work It took
Could I get your opinion on this thread?
Can you unlock this thread since you said you will do it later?
can you please give your input in this thread please?
Yo Dea, can you please give your input here?
Hi, I'm a new user, but I've been lurking (without an account) for a few years now. Reading a few SCP articles in relatively quick succession (Decibelles' ...Like Clockwork series, Ori's Proposal, Eastward of Eden, and altoid-clef, with a few in between) finally encouraged me to start taking my life into my own hands - and one of the ways I'm doing that is joining this site. I was planning on making my first post a CRT for said verse, but, well, you know what's going on. So, instead, I came to ask permission to comment on the referenced thread, and I guess congratulate you for the work you've done on the wiki - not just you, of course.

Reasoning for commenting on said the thread (do I need this part? I'm adding it anyway): Who is He? was deleted - as Bambu points out it's AI generated; and such content is banned on that wiki. A Journey Through the Afterlife was also deleted, but I don't know why - it's not showing up on the deletions thread, unless I'm being an idiot. The deletions thread also serves as a good counterexample for those who claim there's no oversight or whatever - it was only created on the 18th of March, but it has 8 pages full of deletions. BAROQUE was clearly written - at least in part - to demonstrate that the Department of Unreality was not, in fact, Tier 0. And indeed, it shouldn't be; WOG states that SCP-7909 - the article that makes the Department big 0 - was intended to take place in a different continuity from "regular" Unreality. As such, it is not featured on the Unreality hub, which only houses articles consistent with each other - thus, if by some miracle SCP stuff doesn't get removed we should probably only use articles on that hub. Consider it from Fishish's perspective; some guy writes an article that goes against the core concepts of the Department you helped create - it explains unreality, and gives the Dept. members (other than Alex). (Remember the Department's members don't exist - so they aren't there.) Then another guy starts asking how powerful Alex is - whilst completely misunderstanding Alex and Unreality. Then you discover - either via simply searching for the Department of Unreality on some web browser, investigating why this guy was interested in how powerful Alex Thorley was, or something else - that some other guys had made this thing, claiming that Unreality was this really powerful thing - because of that first guy's article - whilst misnaming Alex, and depending on when Fishish read it, misgendering Alex too. With this in mind a reaction like BAROQUE makes perfect sense, at least to me. I have a lot more to say on this matter, but since I've only slept like 6 hours in the past 3 days, I'm really f-ing tired, so night night, I guess.

I think most of these points have been said and the thread is more or less concluded but if you wanna add something go ahead you have my permission.
