In the realm of fiction, it is often your origins that determine how your life shall be laid out. Whether it be the circumstances under which you were born, or the people around you influencing you and laying their expectations onto you. However, when one decides to defy expectations, it is usually a long and steep road to climb, and the ones who attempt this and triumph are often the greatest at what they do. Today, we feature a pair of sword wielders who dared to defy the odds, and managed to triumph over every obstacle that was ever laid in their paths, leading them to become the greatest swordsmen of their time. But which of these two has climbed the steeper path, and arrived higher above all else? Today, we find out!

In the blue corner, we have Ikki Kurogane from Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry, and in the red corner, we have Clare from Claymore.

Claymore-456-prev
-This is a fight to the death or incapacitation. No holds barred.
-Neither character are aware of each other beforehand, and there is no prep time.

-Neither character are allowed any outside help.

-This battle takes place in an open grassy field, giving both an even playing field.

-Clare is in her Base form and Desperado Awakening Ikki has activated Ittou Shura.

-Speed is equalized.

With all this being said, let the debate begin!

The Worst One: 8 (Oblivion Of The Endless, Firephoenixearl, Ionliosite, Schnee One, MrDrProfessorPatricio, Milly Rocking Bandit, Tonygameman, Zel97)

Claymore No. 47: 0

Inconclusive: 0

Death or incapacitation.

Also, I wanna see how he gets past Clare's overall skill in 60 seconds to pull of a decapitation.

Oh incap is allowed?

Phantom form then. Ok so it's just skill vs skill at this point right?

Needless to say Ikki takes this by a landslide. His skill vastly dwarfs that of most characters in this wiki.

I...would disagree. Clare has taken on opponents who are vastly superior to her, and managed to come out on top with her skill.

Heck, she's taken on some of the greatest Claymores of all and still managed to outclass them.

So has Clare. She was literally considered an underdog amongst all of the Claymores, and has a severe handicap on herself to boot by being more human than the rest of the Claymores, who are like half-human and half-yoma.

This gets thrown away early on into the series

Wow, this is gonna be a big one.

Ultra bump.

So, Ikki massively outskills and one-shots with Phantom Form on top of his amps. Did I miss anything?

Hope you're happy with me giving another victory to Ikki, Earl.

I think this match is extremely one sided tbh

Skill=Ikki by a long shot

AP:Irrelevant though Ikki has his Resatsu to blitz and kill her.

And Ikki can one shot with anything given phantom form

Also Clare can't hit intangibles so she can't block his attacks.
