That and Mori vs Ikki are special cases cus they don't have weapons. Ikki's sword is only "intangible" or "phantom" to anything that is animate. To any other kind of object it is just a normal sword. Which is why when ikki slashes Stella he completely clears by her with 0 resistances but he can't do the same when they clash with swords. Or why stella's sword despite being in phantom form causes damage to the surroundings.Schnee One said:

Wait i have part blame here.
This is a stomp. Claire can't even kill Ikki. No durability negation and something a lot of ppl forget, me included:
Durability: At least Large Mountain level+, likely Country level (Although it greatly damaged him he could still stand up after a punch from Stella Vermillio during Dragon Spirit). Higher with Ittou Shura and Ittou Rasetsu.
