Doremy's Gauntlet: Doremy Vs Zero

Well, it seem that Doremy run the Kirby Universe Gauntlet, she already defeated Magolor and Kirby, now it's the turn of a new opponent. Zero as suggested by Cal, what will do Santa Claus?

  • Speed Equalized
  • Both at their strongest
  • 4.2 Lightyears separate both (Approximatively the distance between the earth and Proxima Centauri)

Kirby had the friend heart when he fought Doremy indeed. It was like, one of the main reason why this thread was so long, because Kirby only had a few ways to kill her otherwise (such as the ghost copy ability)

Anyway, how does Zero's possession work? What's its range? Its AOE? If it's just a projectile or something that needs physical contact, Zero gets yeet'd into sleep or BFR'd before he can pull it.

But isnt Kirby supposed now to bypass the resistance? Now Kirby can mindhax.
 
It doesn't matter. The friend heart can be, among other things, dodged. And considering this is a Touhou character, dodging will happen. Having an unresisted victory condition doesn't mean you will instantly win.
 
Friend Hearts were always above Touhou resistance even before the multi-galactic upgrade in potency, but they're projectile based so they can be dodged.
 
Jamba Hearts in Kirby could mindhax passively (DeDeDe looked at one an look), i think the touch them with the heart is a bit, Game mechanics.
 
Yes, ok, uh, Zero can send dark Matter to posses Doremy, or do It by himself.

Also why did the OP put an image of Zero 2? This is Zero.
 
So it really is just projectiles. Then my same reasons as above. She has way better projectiles and more experience with them than him and thus would most likely get a hit in first.
 
When Doremy uses her projectiles to completely engulf an entire planet then she'd have the advantage. When Doremy's age predates most of recorded history she'd have the experience advantage.
 
It depends on the distance between those projectiles.

And are we seriously arguing experience in a battle of hax like this?
 
Even though Zero doesn't just nuke planets when trying to beat or catch people. While Doremy does spam projectiles in combat.

That is...literally the first thing Zero did both of the times he showed up.
 
Doing something when you wake up =/= doing something in combat against one individual. Especially when he just sent a few dark matters at Ribbon after she escaped instead of lolplanet covering her. Or y'know. The fact that he just shot a few crystals at Kirby in his fight instead of attempting to possess him.
 
Possess doesnt work on Kirby, Also Kirby has shard gun, that weapon literally cancelated Zero 2's possess.

Also wtf, why are we arguing here as if Zero was Zero 2, they arent the same, REEEEEEE.
 
Kirby is an incarnation of Zero (well, Void) so obviously that wouldn't work. Even then, he did send Dark Matter at Kirby. He sent Dark matter after Ribbon too. Same Dark smarter lolpossess Adeleine, Waddle Dee, and King Dedede. Ribbon was holding the Crystal Shard, the same thing that purged Zero from the Fairy Queen. He couldn't possess her either. Zero's go-to in literally all of his appearances is possession/mind control, even when its not really him. Void, Zero, Dark Matter, Dark Nebula, Dark Mind, and the Master Crown all do it instantaneously.
 
Wouldn't really stop him from at least trying. Or using more than his simple and straightforward attacks.
 
@Cal It doesn't matter unless he literally goes all planet-engulfing each time. I don't doubt that possession is his usual first move, but you're claiming that he'd start by covering the entire planet in dark matter immediately just to kill an individual.

@Triforce My point is that if he didn't do it against Kirby, he wouldn't it against Doremy.
 
Every time you fight Zero, you're literally inside a planet's with of Dark Matter. Hyper Zone and Dark Star are both made entirely of Dark Matter. You see Zero twice. Zero engulfs the planet in Dark Matter twice. You fight Zero in a crapton of Dark Matter twice.

Kirby is an incarnation of Void? I "stomped" over 30 people that said that on internet, or more, they are related, but still, its a bit of an assumption to say Kirby is a Direct incarnation of Nil, that, unless we observe that literally Nil is the "origin and ancestor" of everything, probably everything is part of Void, remember, Nil It isnt only dark, he is, well, everything..., But maybe Kirby is an actual avatar of Nil, i won't discard It, but leave It as, unlikely, but no discarded, the on!y thing It triggers me is that people takes It as a fact, when its a "maybe". Ah yes, and no, Zero isnt Void, just one dark Matter boss.
