The semifinals have arrived, and the winner of these two rounds will progress to the final round.
Current Standings (A "-1" indicates a fighter was disqualified for whatever reasons)

The combatants for this round are Anne Mayer, submitted by First Witch, and Trigger Happy, submitted by Starter Pack.

Prime Anne and Base Trigger are used, although Trigger can transform into his Elite and Legendary Forms. Speed is equal, battle takes place around this river on Amonkhet at 30 meters away.

Anne scales to 34 Megatons,Trigger scales to 15 mT quakes and being unharmed by the initial blast of a volcanic eruption.

I couldn't find a theme related to Anne so here's this song from a Gildedguy video Same deal with Trigger Happy although I think this is fitting

Yeah, Danmaku gets hard-countered by omnidirectional forcefield spam.

Also powernull probably stops Trigger from transforming into his Elite/Legendary forms.
 
Just out of curiosity, what are Anne's skill feats? Trigger is stupidly skilled in his own right even if he doesnt look like it
 
Trigger won't even get to turn Legendary before he gets put down. Heck, even if he could go Legendary, it wouldn't do a lick of good against someone who so hard counters his entire fighting style. It's been a wild ride, but I am throwing in the towel here.

Voting Anne via skill and being able to put a stop to Trigger Happy's entire fighting style with ease.

Heck, it might even be a stomp. But it's definitely decisive.

I dont doubt that Anne wins due to her skillset hard countering Trigger but i'd like to know what she can do
 
I'll also vote Anne. Her skill advantage is quite immense, and omnidirectional stuffs serve as a good counter to danmaku.

Also, doesn't she have some kind of weapon that warps space on contact with other weapons? That would kinda just plow through the bullets, yes?

It shows how skilled she is relative to master swordsmen and martial artists from across the world. @Litentric That's her second key, although she still spams forcefields in the first key.

Fighting for Trigger Happy against Gintoki has broken me, apparently.

I'm not expecting his fight against Magilou to go much better either, unfortunately.

@Dargoo But what can they do? I can list dozens of master swordsmen and master martial artists that Trigger skill stomps into oblivion without even trying

Yeeeeeeah this is danmaku + decent skill vs reading every single action, skill stomping, forcefields, and a slight AP advantage

Oof. Let me do a bit of reading on Magilou. From what I'm glancing through, though, her Gravity Manip might be a huge problem.

Also, to mirror what was said in the first semi-final match, I'm honestly glad Trigger Happy got this far. It really does a service to the Skylanders franchise as a whole, and hopefully it'll spark more matches to come from the verse in the days to come.

I mean, seriously. Skylanders is absolutely barren when it comes to versus debates. I'd like to see a change to that.
 
Yeah, that was the same reason I wanted a Tales character in the tournament. I hope more matches are made after this by people that aren't me.
