Let's see if this can't be fair.

Homura is in her magical girl form, and obviously no 4-A shit for Monica unless it'll make the fight fairer. Speed is equalized.

Velox is jealous that he didn't make the mismatch

Monica has a noted heavy resistance to magic though, how would that play out? Homura is a magical girl after all, time stop may not be as effective.
 
Im also curious as to how effective magic based time stop would be against someone with a heavy resistance to magic
 
If the time stop is magic, Monica no-sells. Unless you tell me it's some 2-A magic.
 
Monica isn't no selling time Stop just because it's magic that is Nasuverse level of NLF

And even then Homu can touch Monica and drain her instantly
 
Don't think homura can drain before getting bombed to pieces, as that's a contact ability.

Strange question, but though timestop wouldn't work on Monica, would it affect her weapons? Cause homura has dealt with fights with people who've resisted her timestop before.
 
Her missiles just appear right next to or on top of homura and immedately detonate. It's not really something you can Dodge with skill, with speed being equal and all.
 
Oof. Well, it's still a High 7-C attack, so at the very least it should one-shot.
 
I think he thought time stop would work.
 
To what level foes Homura resist Power Null? I remember Mami's power null working on her in Rebellion
 
Mami's powernull has worked on multiple Null resistant characters.

Homura resists it from witches who stop you from moving and using your powers
 
Shunsui at least is more versatile than Yamma tho.

With the most respect I can give The difference between those two and Time Stop vs Ribbons is so massive I'm actually surprised you debated that

I'm afraid to ask this but, does that "time magic" includes time stop?

Cuz if it doesn't, that is like saying anyone who resist time slow will resist time stop.
 
I mean, first of all time stop probably works, giving nearly everyone is resistant to magic in Puella Magi. Not to mention we dont count time stop and other such abilities to fall under magic Resistance (as it's technically manipulating the timeline rather than the enemy.) Though now that we know that it's done by manipulating "time sand" rather than magic, its kinda moot anyways.

Though she still has technology manip via thought (and technology movement via touch) which ironically has worked on cruise missiles specifically before, making the main attack moot and allowing Homura to either power drain or BFR, or even powered cruise missiles spam.
 
lesser than 6.66 kilotons. @Arrogant Schmuck, though from what im getting, this is a first move first hit kind of match

@Dargoo with the exception of BFR / Portal (Although various types of BFR and portal creation exist making it hard to put under the same umbrella) ) most of those Homura doesnt have.
 
Monica can spawn dozens 50 kilotons cruise missiles in the opponent's face, one of them would kill homura
 
Homura usually time stops in the beginning of the match, but given there would be severla dozens of cruise missiles in fromt of her, its entirely possible she would just use tech manip to use them agaisnt monica
 
They detonate instantly, she wouldn't have time to tech manip them when they're instantly spawning and exploding in her face
 
How can she Tech Manip them if they appear in front of her without knowing what made them appear how they appeared and then what?

She doesn't have precog, so she ultimately doesn't know there's an explosion directly in front of her out of nowhere that can one shot her
