When has Rosalina reset the universe?

The first time I have heard about Rosalina resetting the universe is in this video aka Mario Vs Sonic Total War Video skip to 21:36 watch to 22:00 she reset every Sonic character except for Silver.

What I'm trying to ask is when has Rosalina ever reset the universe in Mario games?

I was debating with MetalMario875. He claimed that Rosalina can reset the universe so I took his word for it since I was arguing for the Sonic verse and preparing for what the Mario verse can do.

Any links, cutscenes, guidebooks, screenshots, etc to prove that Rosalina can reset the universe by herself and with the help of the Lumas?

Before you ask. I have nothing against MetalMario875. It's just I need reassurance from people who know a lot about Mario games, characters and their abilities.

Does this count as resetting the universe? If not then whatever she did, is it called recreating the universe and does it erase any character from existance?

While it's never directly stated in the game, it's the cutscene and prima guide that revealed it. According to it the guide, Rosalina shielded Mario and Peach from the catastrophic event after the lumas supressed the black hole that destoryed the universe, causing an explosion. After explaining everything to Mario what happened, she warped him into a bright light which shows him the universe being recreated by her (described as the awesome power of the universe).


This isn't the last time this happens either as it's further supported by two of her animations in Mario Golf: World Tour doing same thing, warping and manipulating the cosmos both of them.

No, isn't the same thing.

Erasing things from existence is Destruction or Void Manipulation. This is a skill, not an attack pottency itself.

Since Rosalina doesn't have Destruction or Void Manipulation in her Powers and Abilities then it's reasonable to assume that she can't erase her enemies from existence. She with the power of the Lumas and a supermassive black hole can reset the universe but her enemies especially Bowser will be born again eventually and will come back to cause trouble.

Can Rosalina also create Lumas or do they come from a different galaxy, universe, etc?


I also want to thank you for the information.

Unlike some Sonic fans who get secretly angry knowing that Rosalina got upgraded to MFTL+ I am happy to learn the truth since I am a fan of both Mario and Sonic.

No, she can't erase the things of existence (unless it redefines time and everything in it, but this is only possible for the ability to restart the universe, which is not included as destruction itself).

Bowser actually survived the destruction of the universe, which is why he was there after the new universe was born. But this feat is generally considered an outlier.

There is nothing that has implicated her to create Lumas, according to the game, the Lumas have a "mother".

I know that she travelled at MFTL+ speeds with the Comet Observatory. Have you seen Rosalina travel at MFTL+ speeds on her own and without the launch stars?

In Super Mario 3D World she is the slowest character to use. Without the Comet Observatory and launch stars her speed should be at least massively hypersonic due to powerscaling to Mario.

There is nothing that implies that she needs the wand to have her powers. The Black Hole itself was created by the Grand Star, but Rosalina is who recreated the universe (DRB explained here).

She doesn't travel at these speeds without the observatory, but other figures scalled to her traveled. It's like Kirby not having traveled at MFTL+ speeds, but being MFTL+ by scalling to Lor Starcutter.

And as for 3DW, maybe it's CIS (Rosalina has teleportation, if she wanted, she could teleport to where Bowser was and end the game).

No, that's not what I meant. What I meant was that she practiced Character-Induced Stupidity during the entire game, as she was running through the scene while she could just teleport to the end of it. She isn't slower than Massively Hypersonic, she is MFTL+, but her stats on 3DW isn't her originals.

It was not determined a maximum level for her teleport, but she was able to teleport even through cosmic distances.

No, again, she isn't MFTL+ because of the observatory, this is her own speed. It is for being comparable to figures that climb to the feat of Lubba's Starship.

And I'm not sure, I don't understand much about Undertale, but it seems to me that once she hit Sans, he would be dead, and there's nothing he could do to stop it because he does not have enough speed to react.
