Okay, so here's the deal. In Super Mario 3D World and its Switch port, Rosalina shared the same Power-ups as Mario and the gang. These power-ups are the Fire Flower, the Super Bell, the Super Leaf, the Boomerang Flower, the Double Cherry, the Super Star (which aren't really Power Stars because Nintendo is stingy like that), and the Mega Mushroom. Considering the Mega Mushroom is pretty much the second highest-tier power-up, above the Fire Flower and similar-tiered power-ups like the Elephant Fruit, yet below the Giga Bell... In Mario+Rabbids Sparks of Hope, you can see where Rosalina stands in regards to power. It took practically the entire main cast (which consists of Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser, because those are the only four characters with consistent roles in the series, apparently) and a few Rabbids just to get Cursa off her back. That's not mentioning that I'm pretty sure Rosalina saved Mario's ass from getting consumed by a universal reset:
At the same time, you can probably defend Mario by claiming that Mario didn't really use much of his abilities in Mario+Rabbids Sparks of Hope (because, you know, it's a strategy RPG with guns). He has a wide selection of hax with and without power-ups, that I can acknowledge. So really, this is a battle between the most experienced character and the most powerful character since Rosalina is pretty much a god. That being said, the only stipulations here are both combatants start five meters apart, and this is base Mario vs bare Rosalina. Everything else would be SBA since... Well, same universe battles use the same scaling; how the eff do you expect anything else?
