It's varied. Sometimes it's supposed to be a fraction of Sanguinius' spirit, other times it's just a random Blood Angel who has taken up this mantle.

Not sure what the current canon states he is.

Would tomorrow be good? It's currently past 10pm for me and, while I normally stay up quite late, tomorrow is the day I have to leave super early in the morning for my biology lab.

Azzy some people think the eldar gods is a weapons create by the old ones or whatever to combat the c'tan, is this true?

Yes, it is.

The Eldar were created by the Old Ones to combat the Necrons and C'tan.

No.

But also yes.

The Eldar (who I guess have now been retconned to the Aeldari) and the Krorks were created by the Old Ones to fight the C'tan and their Necron legions. The C'tan are immensely powerful, but they are masters of conventional reality. Something like the Warp, which does not run on any sort of coherent logic from our perspective, is anathema to them. Thus the Old Ones created legions who could utilize the powers of the Warp to great effect.

The gods were quite likely a side-effect of the Eldar's beliefs, while the Eldar were simultaneously created by the gods. Due to their nature, both of these can technically be true, but GW hates being clear on things so it's never been clarified 100%.

There's even a theory that the Eldar gods were actually psychic manifestations of several Old Ones (hence their creation of the Eldar race).

I know the eldar was created to combat the Necrons and C'tan, but apparently some ancient civilization in 40k is capable to create higher dimensional gods too.

@Matt

Actually, it's what they called themselves before the Fall.

"Abruptly, the song ended. 'Here we stand,' spoke Eldrad from his position atop the tallest staircase, 'ready to usher in a new age for Ulthwe and the Aeldari race.'

'Aeldari?' said Yenshon H'foire. 'That name has no place this side of the Fall.'

'Until now,' said Eldrad."

Also there are theory that Old Ones is the one who created god emprah. :/
Pretty sure the Emperor creating himself via mass ritual suicide is still canon, unless HH ends up retconning it.

Apparently some people think the Psykers at that time is too weak to create emprah even if they was combined their powers.

Remember when The Mary Sue said 40k fans were fascists because of the God Emperor Trump meme?

Good times.

By which I mean ******* kill me

Oh, Rowboat's back. Hopefully Ward stays far away from him. Hopefully.

Do we have a page for Roboute, by the way? Seems important, now that he's, you know, alive.

Let's wait for the book to be released to make a profile. He's received SEVERAL upgrades since his resurrection (Such as a halo by Celestine, Eldar Psychic Powers, an upgraded armor and the Emperor's sword).

Matt Ward:

  • Made it so that the Ultramarines were THE greatest Astartes Chapters in the galaxy, with the highest success rate and the least failed missions
  • Legit stated that the Ultramarines were the standard Space Marines, and that outside of a few "Abnormalities" (He used those legit words), all Astartes' Chapters wanted to be like them
  • His Overpowered OC, Cato Sicarius, is blessed by the Chaos God of Plot, which he shows through his Psychic Powers of Bullshit.
  • Amidst numerous other impossible feats such as conquering entire planets from Daemons with just his legion, holding off hordes of millions of Orks, Cato Sicarius is infamous for having defeated a Transcendent C'ta.

@Omega

Yeah, I'm going to make his profile after I read through Rise of the Primarch.

@Matt

You forgot when the Grey Knights killed a bunch of Sisters of Battle to use their blood as paint to protect from daemons.

Also, oooh Skarbrand's back...again? If Guilliman competes with or even defeats him, that'll be a good feat, but it'll kinda make the Avatar's fight with Skarbrand seem odd.

This month's White Dwarf had a really funny reason as to why Guilliman is the loyalist Primarch they brought back.

According to the writer, they initially wanted it to be Leman Russ, but they figured he'd be so ******* pissed at the state of the Imperium, he'd run around destroying Chaos shit in a blind rage until something finally killed him.

So they needed the most level-headed Primarch.

@Matthew

Dear lord and i thought the end times were terrible. He sounds like he's just inserting his own Mary Sue into the cannon and using his position to write fanfiction. And a transcendant c'tan shard should easily be emporer level plus right? I know i shouldnt be using logic here, but couldnt we stick Cato Sicarius on the golden throne and replace the emporer?
