Verses you hate and why?

RWBY: Really enjoyed the first 3 volumes, then everything went to the ******* after that.

Redo of Healer: Revenge ****.

ichiban ushiro no daimaou: I recall watching this in 2011/2012 for the *******, and I can safely say the ******* were not worth it.
 
never been active in their community but have a couple of friends who always talk about it and share "pictures of servants" all the time

and I can't really hate that picture sharing part

I still like it but somehow nasuverse contents outside Fate/Zero and Kara no kyoukai are kinda hard for me to consume. I already struggled just to understand animated version Fate/Extra even after playing its PSP game version

As for Fzero, I don't hate it. it's a nostalgia thing kind of like for me lol

I only read a bit of the manga so I was confused.

But then I saw the "Yogiri now consider forced teleportationn (BFR) as a form of attack and will kill them beforehand".

And I have to agree tho it's quite disappointing since the manga is funny but ill carry on reading.

I'm also interested in seeing Japanese battleboarding sites lmao.
 
Mushoku Tensei was actually the first WN I read in full. I read the whole thing like 7-8 years ago, and for a while it was one of my favorite stories, and definitely my favorite isekai. But changing from a kid to adulthood really put into perspective how bad some of the stuff Rudeus does on a regular basis for a gag, is.

Like; people accuse Naofumi of Grooming Raphtalia to be his perfect waifu, additional context from novels prove that to be untrue.
While in MT it's the exact opposite. Rudeus as a nearly 50+ year old man mentally, trains little girls to be members of his harem. Sexually assaults them. Enjoys hearing his parents have sex, and enjoys sucking his mother's breasts in a perverted sense.... among a bunch of other stuff.
It's quite sickening actually.

Which is why, despite knowing that the anime is well animated and the story is good, I have yet to watch it.

Honestly I wish they did the Paedophilia thing better.

As it's a pretty realistic depiction you can't just stop being a nonce lmao.

But you can not act on those feelings but having him groom girls and jack of to children of his niece.

While still creepy it would've been better if he just fantasysed about it instead.

And also in SH didn't Naoifumi pick raph because he wanted to beat her for being a women lmao.

Not that I care since Female Author and all. But still.

No, he never beat her.

Part of the reason he picked her was because she was a girl, so he could pretend he turned Myne into a slave (At least that's what he was thinking at the time). He never actually did that though, and as we saw later, he was pretty nice and attentive to her (Although a bit harsh at first)

The author says this in volume 1's afterwards section. "The protagonist's power is to kill anything at will. There are no limits at all. Whoever his enemy is, they'll definitely die. He's going to win in the end anyway, so who needs all those annoying fight scenes in the way?"

in his own verse, that is. How far is instant death from being over?
 
I believe one of Yung's point with that, is that ID was already meant to be what it is currently since the very beginning, so saying stuff like "Wow, he is turning his verse into a suggsverse, dropping it!" or "Omg he has no weakness this is boring" makes no sense since you've been warned of the whole situation right at the start and just makes you look bad or spiteful (or both)

Why are we talking about strawmans and stuff when this is thread is specifically about opinions and the like?

Anyway, here's some verses I dislike:
  • Blazblue (is underwhelming in terms of character design, I do like Arakune tho)
  • DCEU poorly characterizes many, many characters and it annoys the shit out of me.
  • Monster Girl Encyclopedia because the character designs are bland for monster characters.
