Cinder's fire would very easily destroy Kars' armor if he tries to tank her fire, which given his cockiness he would likely do, and even if he tried to use the bubble armor its not durable enough to tank her AP and gets destroyed, causing Kars to be quickly burned to death like he wouldve been by the lava.

Cinder also has her arrows which can turn Kars to ash at will and that Cinder can control the trajectory of and disassemble at will to move them around attacks. The reason she didnt kill Pyrrha was equal parts Cinder toying with Pyrrha the entire fight and Pyrrha having a symbolic death (Pyrrha is the representation of Achilles, the arrow went through her heel).
