Yes... the controversial fight, because why not?

Let's say a random time traveller decided to solve the feud once and for all... by making them fight to death and recording the fight

Spino vs Trex
Tyrannosaurus rex

Spinosaurus

They fight on prehistoric Egypt

Both are bloodlusted

They are 20 feet away from each other

T-rex.

Spinosaurus is at a disadvantage without a body of water, it's sail is a massive weak point and it's slower than T-rex.

About the fight, we STILL don't know whether Spino is bipedal, quadrupedal or a mixture of both, so speed difference is iffy. T. rex definitely wins in bite force though (spinosaurids have notches in their upper jaws, indicating a weak bite force)

necro but the spinosaurus takes this. there is no way the t rex could match it physically and spinosaurus didnt just eat fish. those claws would be an insane threat alone

T. rex wins. It has a huge advantage on land and was equipped to fight dangerous animals. Meanwhile Spinosaurus likely spent more time in the water than on land and its claws were suited for catching fish and not fighting large predators. It also had a much weaker bite force. It has a size advantage but that won't help it much and in fact its size would mean its likely not as fast as the rex.

spinosaurus honestly probably ate land animals aswell. and its claws would still shred the t rex. the trex does have the bite force and speed advantage (maybe?) yes, but i dont think spinosaurus had a toy level one at 2000 psi. considering how much heavier and larger it was than the t rex i cant see it winning unless a neck bite

thats what im trying to change
The match has already been settled. The only way you could really change the results is if something major changed. EX: T-rex or Spinosauras have something major on their profiles updated (Speed, AP, Dura, etc.), thus making the match results outdated.

Basically, something would have to happen to get the match removed from their profiles. This thread is only open because someone forgot to close it after it was completed.

i think its allowed to add something to try to make people change their minds. im trying to do that because theres no real way the t rex can win apart from one.

By look at spinosaurus thin neck nope, plus I doubt spino arms is strong enough to push back T rex charging at it at full speed.

it isnt a twig. if it could hold the spinos massive jaws and large crocodiles/prehistoric fish or even dinosaurs, it isnt weak. and how? spino arms are massive, so were their claws. definitely much stronger than a t rex. it would probably get its neck clawed out or eyes if it charged. and the spinos ability to go quadrupedal also helps it not get knocked over.

By stats It's definitely weaker than T rex, and its arm seems to be too short to properly protect its neck too plus t rex dont need to knocked over spino, just bites spino in the neck.

how is it weaker by stats than t rex? even it gets higher kinetic energy rankings if youre talking about that. and its arms were massive, they were long enough to reach its head iirc. if the t rex tries to bite spino it will get its neck sliced

depends what type of steel. the type they were talking about was the one used in buildings i think

Weaker in bite forces, and if T rex can handle another bites from fellow T rex then it can handle the claw, plus bites forces from these type of animal is usually higher their arms power too.

Btw crocodile too can break the Specific device specially designed to measure their bite force with easy.

the claw to its eyes or neck will stop the t rex in its tracks. and i agree that the t rex's bite was stronger than its arms.

spinosaurids preyed and fed on crocodiles
