Honestly, it's not as bad as what I thought it'd be.

Hoaqin's flashback was neat as always, White and Bam's mutual (power) succ-off had some great panels, and...

Okay, on to the elephant in the room.

1. Was Decompressed Rak w/ Ancient's Spear being able to actually hurt Post-Explosion Prime White complete BS?

99% yeah it was. I still absolutely enjoyed seeing Big Rak for the first time in forever.

2. Should Rak and Khun have been atomized by the shockwaves of the clash alone just by standing near them?

100% they definitely should have been.

3. Am I annoyed by the implications of Khun & Rak getting some of the EXP of Bam's kill?

Yeah, I am, although it depends on how much. I will be incredibly annoyed if they're Ranker level, and actively complaining if they're High Ranker level after this.
 
Also the spear seems to have consistent 6-B'ish feats, like piercing Doom external transformation who was in pain with the curse(Rak) And distracted Doom(Not Rak), piercing through distracted Khel Hellam and now distracted White

altough done by different people which were vastly stronger than Rak, but meh, it's another case of somehow the weapon being strong independant of who wields it(which is bullshit imo, since what makes a weapon strong is the strenght behind the swing/throw)

I mean the weapon can only be wielded by ancient users so... I wouldn't be surprised. Stuff happens, might as well be 6-B
 
Bam:
so idk how we'll rate his TSM mode when he fought White before the time rewind but for his post-time rewind i'd say

6-B (Overpowered White multiple times throughout their fight, White stating that he is stronger than he is)

Abilities: Same abilities as before but to a greater extent, additionally Time manipulation (can rewind his and other people's time to restore them to a previous state), Corrosion inducement (his black shinsoo can cause corrosion), Absorption (was absorbing power directly from White and managed to suck him dry of energy)

Rak:
At least High 7-C, 6-B with Ancient spear (Dealt significant damage to White by throwing the spear)

Abilities: Invisibility (keeps the Ancient sphere in an invisible case)

Idk if we should add flight, i think we should see how it goes first as we've not seen their new abilities yet.

We already discussed the tiers.
  • Likely 6-B for True Self Mode+Thorn Bam
  • Unleashed True Self Mode is 6-B+ Casually overpowered a White who was stronger than Prime White who scales to 49 teratons
Bam is already in the tier jump area(and so is White but the revision of it literally died)
Abilities: Invisibility (keeps the Ancient sphere in an invisible case)

Literally every single weapon is in invisible mode while encased, so this goes for all characters that have shown to use an arm inventory.
 
Hello, you might be surprised to have me back, but I think it's fair to let you know, you know, during the time I decided to drop ToG, it was more an emotional outburst due to the backlog of bad SIU decisions and the drop in quality in the S3, but after resting for a little over 2 months it made me think that I had done unnecessary drama back then and that I had to go back to this thread to let you know that even though I dropped ToG for now, I may go back to keep up with it in a few months after a certain number of chapters accumulate or when The Nest Arc ends, I realized that reading this arc weekly would only make me unnecessarily stressed, just warning that I only read until the chapter where the fight between White and Baam ended, because they were my priorities of CRT before I decided to drop

Also, I can update their profiles based on what you discussed after I left, as you seem to have reached consensus and no one disagreed

By the way, the final form thing that White pulled out before being hit by the Ancient Spear was a power-up or just something like what happened to Hell Joe where his appearance changed due to the extreme situation where he was? I was confused at the time I had read that chapter
 
Its because of White stating that his sword was decomposing because of Baam's black shinsoo, and yes, this is the fan translation but is better and more accurate than the official translation

I assume decomposing is only referring to Corrosion Inducement, right?

to be fair they are practically the same thing and it did seem that it was corroding more than just molecularly decomposing
 
Should shinsu resistance grant resistance to this kind of specific shinsu based abilities like Bam deconstruction or absorbtion?
Coz in some days I plan on doing the CRT of shinsu resistance and add a bunch of extra resistance...
