with nocturne's ability to time travel I doubt he would be hit by a knife. He would just come back a few seconds before and now he knows what piedmon would do. He could also just cut the knife to bits using his space-time cutting.

remember nocturne can gain info on his targets via scannign them.

Well Dark Fire is the name of the attack, however it is no different to Lucemon Satan Mode's flames or Daemon's Flame Inferno as they use a flame from a specific source. They aren't exactly creating the flame.
