So, question.

Would it be reasonable to implement the unaniously-agreed additions for Dr. Eggman while we wait a bit more for the Tiering aspect of this thread to finish? Or would it take another administrator to sign off?

Pretty sure you could. I added Shadow's energy cores without a CRT, and this is already accepted. I think Eggman's profile is still be unlocked from the last CRT too, but I may be wrong

The hax for Dr. Eggman is now applied, with improved references with page numbers to account for the consensus reached on the Imgur stuff + creating a tabber specifically for Eggperial City as a whole.

I'm aware of a WIP calc for the Lost Hex, as well as all this other stuff regarding the size being updated, so I'll edit the OP and just wait to see what happens.

Within the Sonic 2 Mega Drive Koushiki Guide Book, specifically this page, it states Sonic is back with more power than last time. Power growth is nothing new narratively in this franchise, but this also calls for further indexing. And because Classic Sonic has only displayed the capacity to defeat the Death Egg Robot from Sonic 2 and onwards, I'm adding a key covering his Base for what's basically just applicable for him during Sonic 1 and CD.
Why was this part crossed out? Sonic still had a power growth between CD and 2 even if it's between 2 different 5-A levels of power.

The statement is valid to use so you can just disregard it being crossed out, it's mainly the new key idea which I meant to cross out.

Okay, so:
The new Earth size would affect the calc of the chain feat, so shouldn't there be yet another re-calc (and a new GBE for the Earth)?

Little Planet's most recent calc can just get another end added elaborating that South Island impacted the size of Sonic's Earth to be larger. I don't think we need a "Metal Sonic flying to Earth" situation. As for a recalc of the planet... Yeah lol

Lost Hex is this big and not visible on Earth in Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Frontiers, etc games in space.
Should we take Unleashed into account? The Lost Hex was introduced six years later, and we should also consider that the it was and could have been hidden by clouds, as suggested by the intro of lost world. Its nature explains why it remained undiscovered and unexplored for so long

Best outcome is High 5-A imo

Okay, we'll just need the calcs I linked and the calc above me evaluated when one of you lovelies can do so @Dalesean027 @CloverDragon03.

Then we'll have to actually blog the new calc. Man, this thread certainly went somewhere just trying to get Classic to Tier 6.

Any preferences on which Earth/shots of the Earth you'd use?

I think Unleashed is equally usable as other post-lost world planet shots if TailsTube is making it relevant to the statement and having it in the background of the show.

And yes, of course, we can account for the clouds' at its thickest point if its contained in the clouds and ratio that to the planet. In a lot of shots the cloud layers as a whole are just uber teeny.

I updated this calculation according to the evaluation done by @Dalesean027 on Gilad's calc, which just needs a quick look over, as the prior accepted High End is just being updated with their new larger Earth size.

Once that's accepted, we shall have a High 5-A feat for Classic era.

I also did two low ends for the fat earth deniers, since I'm not largely opposed to the Earth being beeg, like certain anime's weird Earth with pirates...its just a weird concept. Sonic's planet doesn't have irl Earth's geography so idrm either.

How many more times will this planet need to be recalced, lmao
Maybe much more if we get better pixel scaling for West Side Island, South Island, or whatever other islands the whole you can't see from orbit statement should apply to with Tails visiting them prior to saying that, given there's stuff from other games I'm not pouring over atm and of lot of these are seemingly not on Unleashed's map. Also, there is IDW comics, other canon media of prior islands portrayals being considered, but it could be that I'm still low-ending it from the popular data set. Would barely be surprised if we got something like a 300km island that Tails was aware of, just from the graphical frustrations limitations I had with calculating South Island's size.

Sorry about this but I have some questions about the calc.

First why aren't we using 1px for the landmasses when 1px would also be invisible from space? I just don't get why it has to be 1/2 a px specifically when 1 should work fine.

Why are we using S3@K for the size scaling instead of unleashed or SA2. Especially when S3@K is the least recent game of the three and has the worst ability to show images due to the console limitations of the time?
