Iirc you might be confusing it with the Adventure statement in the manual.

Had to use Wayback machine, but the statement I'm talking about is right there in the old version of the blog. And since the game from which this statement is from has Sonic's very first instance of 5-A scaling, it should follow that the two games before it should have a weaker key (Most likely Low 6-B from Sonic's already calced feat in CD). This should be saved for another CRT at this point, but I figured it's important to point it out here.

I wouldn't mind a Low 6-B key for Classic Pre-Sonic 2, and iirc only Classic Metal/Sonic 1 & CD bosses would scale. I think that would actually be kinda fun. A CRT for another time, I suppose.

Tails technically does too since he has a game that takes place before Sonic 1 and there's no way he's 5-A in that one when Sonic isn't.
