The secret use of God Ki

God Ki is known in the Dragon Ball community as something that was hyped early on as super special and powerful only to then be completely forgotten by the time the Tournament of Power rolls around. Here in the Vs Battles wiki, it is acknowledged as a unique power separate from normal Ki, but outside from the pocket reality thing that's only considered an ability of God Ki in Heroes, the only ability it is considered to have is the inability to be sensed by those lesser than a God. However, I would argue that God Ki has another powerful ability that has been overlooked by the fandom: Mortals who are lesser than a God are not only unable to sense God Ki, they aren't able to affect it either.
This has been stated quite straightforwardly by Beerus in Battle of Gods:

Of course, you might argue that this statement was only in the movie and no longer canon. However, in the Dragon Ball Super anime, Vegeta not only reaffirms that he cannot attack a God like Whis, but also affirms that it's specifically because of God Ki:

In conclusion, God Ki should be given the additional ability of invulnerability and immunity to normal Ki, as well as potentially status effect inducement (as Vegeta implies he can't even attack Whis) so long as the opposing party is lesser than a God, likely following the same rules as the ones that prevent mortals from sensing God Ki. God Ki definitely doesn't grant invulnerability because people who have used God Ki can be hurt and harmed by mortals too.

You don't even have to go that far. Gohan vs Goku in both Pre-ToP and after Cell Max Saga proves that God Ki does indeed not provide resistance over Normal Ki attacks.

Firstly, God Ki cannot be sensed by normal Ki users because achieving God Ki requires maximizing and then completely sealing one's Ki within their body.

Secondly, Vegeta was held back by a 寄せつけぬ無気の気は ["impenetrable aura of lifelessness"], which kept Vegeta mystified until Whis revealed his level of strength—being even higher than the likes of Beerus. The only reason Vegeta hesitated in his approach was because he could not understand Whis or his ability, not because God Ki grants Invulnerability (by the way, only the screenshot from the Battle of Gods film implies Invulnerability), or because God Ki prevents any attack altogether (see: any fight in Dragon Ball Super NOT involving Zamasu); he could not sense Whis's power, and that knowledge (or lack thereof) frightened him.
