The most controversial debate continues... Son Goku vs Superman (7-20-16).

I do believe Goku wins 7/10.

But again, no one who votes for super will change, to be blunt, but that isnt to say supes cant win, they both can.

Anyways people you should just try to stay as unbiased as possible.

I switched for incon too.
 
Superman has super intelligence and is a skilled martial artist, Goku should overall be much more skilled in pure h2h but Superman's experience, martial arts training and super brain should enable him to handle Goku 1v1 in pure skill.

Goku's IT also does take a good second or so of concentration for Goku to use, so at equalised speeds Superman would be able to prevent Goku from using it via pressure but if Goku shocks Superman with a Warp Kamehameha, it's gameover.

Issue is, Superman can become intangible and Chou Goku seems to lack Super Goku's non-physical interaction, so it's feasible for Superman to simply turn intangible to evade Goku's attacks, although he won't be able to do anything in response. Superman also has at least Mid-Low Regenerationn, so he may be able to go intangible and regenerate mid-battle.

There is also always the option of sundipping to heal and increase stats, which Goku would only be able to stop either by preventing Superman from leaving Earth or Goku nuking Superman from Earth.

Overall, it's definitely safer to say inconclusive.

I agree that Goku would probably win 7/10, 6/10 at worst but it's close enough to 5/10 that I'm fine with inconclusive.

It's a possibility to watch out for, regardless. I can't think of a reason why he wouldn't be able to do it, anyways.

His intangibility is him vibrating really fast, that's a pretty unstable state to be healing at the same time and since he never did it, it seems reasonable to me that you can't just combo it.
 
Superman can heal off minor injuries rather quickly, taking like a few minutes to heal a slit throat. However, larger and larger beatings he'd need actual time to recuperate.
 
Are there any cases of people regenerating by vibrating in DC? I swear I recall the Flash having an ability like that, but that could just be sPeEd fOrCe

Can't remember any such occasion and Flash does a lot of stuff that even people with the same abilities can't do in DC in general TBH.

LOL, I've seen two matches that lasted over a month and guess what? One involved Superman and the other Goku.

So TWO MONTHS MINIMUM!
 
Hmm, not sure about the Goku match but I'm assuming the Superman one that took forever to add was the first Superman vs Thor
 
Let's be honest, grace is rarely enforced, a match basicaly just keep going until someone get off their asses and request the match to be added or the thread to be closed.
 
Even if this match ended up as an incon, I'd still be happy that a freaking Goku vs Superman thread actually concluded with minimal derailment or toxicity.
 
I'm happy either way, i accomplished what i wanted, an incon would just be a bonus because i could post meme related to it.
