The King of Curses has a bad time

Ngl I agree with @Adem_Warlock69 that the player/Chara/Frisk sparing Sans was more out of curiosity than Sans legit convincing them to stop fighting but that's a different convo.
Anyways Si isn't gonna matter cause Sans doesn't start with it and even if he did he would be sliced to bits by Sukuna before he could get a word out of his mouth. I still think this is a stomp but ima vote for Sukuna.

sans did fight Flowey a few times, that guy wasn't a threat to the world at that time, so I think just having a really LV is enough honestly.

This seems like a mismatch in Sukuna’s favor. Sukuna doesn’t need to move and the slash is invisible. Bad combo with a large AP gap.

If it’s not a stomp. Sukuna FRA.

This is a mismatch. How is Sans ever going to hope to damage him?

Social influencing won't work since. He didn't do it on Chara, he did it on Frisk. And was only able to pull it off due to appealing to their past friendship and connection. Which e obviously can't do here.

Karmic Retribution is going to be unreliable, as Sukuna can quickly heal using RCT, or have Mahoraga Adapt to it.

Sukuna also has a overwhelming Stamina Advantage.

He may have not known about anomaly at the time. As Papyrus notes in one of the calls, Sans became very lazy only recently. In the game, he won’t attack Frisk even if all monsters but Vulkin are killed.

Scroll down near the bottom.
Well, Cleave wouldn’t work due to this:
Unless used in his domain expansion, Sukuna must make physical contact with the target in order to activate Cleave.
If I understand correctly, Dismantle’s range is the whole universe, right? Well, does Sukuna always start with it? If yes, then this is just a stomp lmao

Can someone tell me what exactly do Sukuna’s techniques do?
Just read his Notable Attacks/Techniques smh. Tldr; Shrine lets him make ranged slashing attacks that have layered invisibility. Ten Shadows lets him summon shikigami with various abilities that are also invisible the big one being Mahoraga who adapts to to any and all types of phenomena to counter it.

his page is linked in the prompt, but if that doesn’t help, basically I guess his biggest abilities are spatial cutting, high level regen, and he can summon a dude who sans can’t see and adapts to attacks if not instantly killed in one attack.

Pay attention to his dialogue near the end. He is trying to appeal to his connection to the player from the previous timelines.

  • someone who, in another time, might have even been...
  • a friend?
He does not know of previous timelines, he does not have Acausality Type 1 for a damn ******* reason. You also can do Genocide as the first route and Sans will say exact same shit

Sans has Instinctive Reaction which allowed him to dodge Chara's attack while asleep. Would that allow him to dodge Dismantle despite not being able to see it?

Key word is trying. Even if he doesn't know for sure he's betting on the player having once been friends with him in a different timeline.

He can affect space with Slashes that Cut the World but afaik it can only reach tens of meters of distance.

I feel like he could but like, it wouldn’t matter as soon as Sukuna uses his domain

True, but that doesn’t mean that he can’t come up with a different dialogue to SI Sukuna lmfao

Then guess what’s gonna happen

Its Mekuna so

Shrine
-Invisible slashes that even sorcerers who can see invisible things cannot detect
-Insta kill move that happens in contact
-A Domain Expansion with 200 meters of radius
-Fire Arrow capable to vaporize everything within 200 meters

Ten Shadows
-10 different shikigamis which are invulnerable due to cursed energy physiology
-One can adapt to anything that is used against it
-Another is capable to heal the user with RCT
-Nue, which is hundred of meters in size capable to spam lightning from its wings
And so on

Probably not, it has layered invisibility and Sans wouldn't be able to sense them due to not having cursed energy.
This guy can dodge attacks while SLEEPING, he will dodge the attack for sure, unless it has universal range or smth like that which would make this a stomp

IA counters
-Insta kill move that happens in contact
Dodges
-A Domain Expansion with 200 meters of radius + Fire Arrow capable to vaporize everything within 200 meters

Teleports out (yes he is getting Range upgraded to Kilometers)
Ten Shadows
-10 different shikigamis which are inculnerable due to cursed energy physiology
Ok
-One can adapt to anything that is used against it
Ok, SI + if that won’t work, Soul hax is pretty much a one-shot
-Another is capable to heal the user with RCT
Ok
-Nue, which is hundred of meters in size capable to spam lightning from its wings

Change it to 2/3 Fingers Sukuna. At least he wouldn't have the jump squad or Furnace.

Once again, Sans doesn't know anything about Sukuna. Just cause he has SI doesn't mean he can instantly trick others with his words.
He would do that due to being rather lazy as noted in his Weaknesses section, that’s what has been established in other versus threads too

How is he able to accurately deduce how many times The Player has died then or that they even died at all?
That’s why you read the profiles, buddy!
Sans is so perceptive that he can accurately deduce how many times Chara has died and tried again through time travel just by looking at their expression. He can also guess if Chara has already killed him but has reset the timeline just to fight him once more, as well as whether he dunked Chara or not
