Now people can't complain about how I'm "Spamming popular characters that get spammed too much already" cause noone spams Stain for some reason even though he's the best villian in the series.

Beginning of Alicization Kirito, Speed Equalized, Copy/paste Fight takes place in a secluded allyway in some generic timeless city with both combatants standing ten meters apart. Both are in-charater, are fully equiped yadayada, No prep time or previous knowledge, just a completely random encounter. Victory via any means.

This is very favorable on Kirito's side. His striking power, durability, speed outclasses Stain as well as his versatility on being able to use sacred arts AND there's also Incarnation which might let him overpower Stain's quirk. Though Stain is pretty dangerous if he manages to get Kirito's blood.
 
The Underworld is a simulation of reality, not a VR game, so yes, Kirito would bleed here, since the Underworld is a nearly exact copy of real life.
 
I feel like Kirito outskills the everloving crap out of Chizome in regards to swordplay, but Chizome only needs to draw blood once to close it out, and can injure himself/go through hell to do so considering his character.

IMO Chizome takes this with extreme difficulty. He's essentially holding off Kirito until he has to oppertunity to cut him, and will likely sustain damage over the match.

Just adding on, Kirito's main fighting style is to not get hit while dishing out as much damage as possible. The only ones who can touch him are those comparable or higher in skill level, such as Integrity Knights who literally have over 100 years more experience than him, and even then he can still handle himself in those situations. In any other situation, such as many times back in Aincrad (farming (Even after Sachi's death, Kirito rarely got hit when fighting recklessly), fighting other players, etc.).

So this info will make it a bit tougher for Stain to get a clean hit off of Kirito, which is not even considering Hypersense, Distinguish, defensive Sword Skills such as Spinning Shield, and of course Incarnation which can kick in when he's really determined to not die, and may very well get him out of paralysis like how Asuna did against Kayaba's admin paralysis.
 
I mean, it's not like Chizome isn't that skilled. I get how good Kirito is at swordplay and I also understand how his fighting style opts to avoid getting hit if possible. But the issue is that Chizome only needs one scratch to basically close out the match; once Kirito is paralyzed, even if he can break out of it with effort, Chizome follows up with a throat-slit or stab that ends the match right then and there.

That's why I think this is extremely difficult on Chizome's part; but I still think he edges out here.
 
I'll hold my vote for now but this is looking to be favorable for Stain, Kirito, however, does have Arms Blast and might just go to disarm him.
 
And to be fair Stain is not afraid to use underhanded tactics and dirty tricks to get the drop of blood he needs.
 
Like Kruull said, Arms Blast to break Stain's weapons.

Kirito is also no stranger to paralysis attacks, as literally as low as Floor 1 there were paralysis attacks, and Kirito always keeps a look out for those (especially after the whole Kuradeel debacle. See episode 15 of Alicization).

Kirito is also used to people using underhand tactics as low as Floor 3 via Morte and of course Laughing Coffin members, and he still only gets hit by the most skilled of members, like PoH.

@Ciruno there's plenty of times Kirito had no prep time against enemies that could literally one shot him but he still manages to not get hit. Case and point:

  • Fighting against dozens of Little Nepents, which have been stated to kill entire parties in groups at his level, but he still was able to kill them all without getting hit.
  • Against Integrity Knights who have 50 to 100+ more fighting experience than him.
  • New monsters that he has no information on.
 
Stain would honestly have no issue using a broken sword or any of the other various bladed objects he keeps on himsef.

It doesn't matter that "he's no stranger to paralysis attacks". If he can't instantly break out of them or prevent it from effecting him entirely he gets his throat slit in the second or two he's incapacitated.

Morte is a rather bad example as he stalemated Kirito and intentionally left the fight. And also didn't have skills that would paralyze Kirito with one small cut. Kirito also lost half his hitpoints in that match; Stain only needs one hit to land.
 
The issue with that is I think Kirito was able to at least prepare for a boss fight in the early stages since he's fought them before.
 
Sooo... they're roughly equal physically, and Kirito can probably cave him in with a sword skill?
