Except it kinda is

Incarnation directly counters it and it's been shown to not only activate in the face of the fear of death or something else then the defense of others, and it means Stain won't actually get a kill from paralysis, meaning that just nailing him to the ground with it wouldn't work

And if that doesn't work it's just a matter of two evenly matched swordfighters where stain doesn't necessarily have the advantage of just slitting his throat, anymore then Kirito would

As a side note, the Soul Translator Kirito's using in the Underworld connects directly to his soul, making Incarnation stronger.

Incarnation as its weakest with the NerveGear and Amusphere where the two only connects the senses, not really the soul itself. Even with a weak connection however Asuna still managed to break free of system paralysis and Kirito could resist death.

With a bit of a stronger connection to the soul via the Augma, Eiji was able to break free from his FullDive Non-Comformity's paralysis with just telling himself to get up.

With all this in mind, there would be no question that Kirito could almost immediately get back up from paralysis via Soul Translator having Incarnation at its strongest, considering this is his BoA key.

I see people forgetting the fact that sword skills amp up the user's stats in the instance that it was used. Seriously, guys, please even with Stain's reflexes couldn't counter full cowl Deku and Recipro Burst.

To add to that even without his sword skills, he has martial art skills like Embracer, Gengetsu and Senda to rely on. On another thing, Incarnation's innate probability manipulation and reality warping shenanigans.

That was a two on one attack from completely different directions. Unless Kirito can duplicate himself it's not really the same.

Two on one attack that was focused in a liner direction.

Pretty sure Kirito with better skill is more then capable of doing that.

Being disarmed doesn't affect how you dodge

Neither does two opposing directions in a linear line by comparison to Kirito who blocks danmaku in the novel.

Well, I guess since people aren't giving any extra arguments for Stain, going to vote for Kirito for now.

"Victory by any means"

What are the conditions for "victory" in this? Killing each other or incapacitating to the point of debilitation? Because there are cases in which both won't fully commit to killing and there are also quite a few situations in which they won't hesitate (either through ruthless beliefs or desperation).

After consideration, I am retracting my vote for Stain and changing to Kirito for XMark/DMUA's reasoning.

If we count votes that are based off reasoning given by the person who switched

5-4 for Kirito

If we don't.

5-0
