So, both win if the manage to hit the other first. Stain because he can just go and kill Jonathan while Johnny because of Hamon mindhax. I'd give it to stain more times than not.
Johnathan has never used Hamon Mindhax, though.

Stain uses a sword. Sword is a good conductor of Hamon. Stain gets Hamon pumped into him and dies before he can lick or the sword cuts deeper.

Voting Jonathan.

How? I've only seen the anime but it only mentions hamon being leathal to the undead.

It's still sun energy stuff and as shown with Erina, they had to take special measures so her heart wouldn't go bye bye from the discharge of Hamon meant to kill AC/DC.

And Jonathan did use the Mindhax, but only twice. On that small snake from the zombie Dio left to kill the girl that slapped him, and on that weird chinese dude carrying Dio's head to make him grab and hold the ship's engine parts, making stuff go boom boom.

Don't you mean Suzie, not Erina?

Eh, it's hard to tell background Waifus apart sometimes

Especially in JoJo

I forgot about the snakes. Yeah, Jonathan has mindhax in base too.
IDK how base JoJo mindhaxing a snake could equate to him mindhaxing Stain, although Hamon would just KO Stain if applied anyways.

JoJo FRA.

It was at least a dozen snakes.

Both a snake and the chinese vampire Servant of Dio. It's totally plausible for him to be able to, and it's not impossible that he will try seeing how Stain ain't a vampire or Zombie. We already saw what type of attitude he has against people trying to kill him from his first meeting with Speedwagon.

You mean take a potentially permenently damageing hit then try to punch him and walk away? If were taking his "fight" with Speedwagon into account then Stain wins 9/10.

I dunno if it's different in the manga, but the anime portrays Jonathan as pretty bad at dodging.

If stain is given the chance to activate his quirk, he could easily win.

Johnathan is already a skilled boxer, has a trumendous strength advantage, and the sword of luck and pluck, which conducts hamon, whicj can stun humans iirc, so I doubt Stain could activate it in the first place

Johnathan wins.

Jonathan didn't just mindhax a bunch of snakes, his final hamon attack was used to mindhax Wang Chan, forcing him into the boats rowing mechanism/engine or whatever. We had a scan of this on his page at one point but it seems someone removed it.

We also have Caesar mindhaxing his girlfriend or whatever into bodying Joseph. Clearly, hamon can be used to mind control complex organisms beyond snakes.

Hamon in large enough quantities (which can be obtained logically through buildup or their signature overdrives) can also shutdown organs and is generally problematic, as seen when Caesar uses it to stop Mark's heart or when they acknowledged Suzi Q was at risk if they used their hamon on her incorrectly. Joseph also uses is to literally insta-ko a grown man.

Hamon isn't some tool restricted to the undead, it's a very lethal martial arts technique that enchances the user and carries some dura-negation. It just so happens to cause extreme damage to opponents who are weak to sunlight.

On that note JoJo FRA, he's likely close to Stain in skill and i'm unsure as to whether or not bloodcurdle would even work on a hamon user in the first place, seeing as how they have the ability to eject poisons out of their body and can recover from shattered bones in just a few seconds.

Bloodcurdle isn't a poison and only paralyses opponents remotely after Stain ingests someones blood. Also, everyone here beleives Jonathan is skilled enough to never be cut even once? That sounds a bit wanked to me, but ya can't stop the JoJo FRA squad

@The Smashor And that will accomplish what exactly? Give Stain a bloody no-nose? I doubt te AP gap is large enough to oneshot and if it is there's a few other problems here other then JoJo wank.

Hamon. All of Jonathan's attacks have it and his body is charged with it. Melee attacking Jonathan is asking for getting hamon pumped inside the attacker. A large amount of it was enough to melt Joseph's leg and a minute amount of it is enough to stop a person's heart.
