The Elder Scrolls: Mythopoeic Reinterpretation (Revision Thread)

Not necessarily.

It explicitly says they cast the lightning bolt at their target first, so it doesn't require MHS+ reactions to determine where to stop.

"Legend holds that these Dwemer were the self-exiled Rourken clan of Resdayn (Morrowind), who refused to participate in making peace with the Dark Elves. Thus, the Rourken chieftain threw his mighty hammer, Volendrung, across Tamriel, promising to lead his clansmer to "wherever it should fall." This mythic image has been depicted on the walls of several ruins in Hammerfell: a mass exodus of golden-clad dwarves, trudging through the Cyrodilic forests, Volendrung a falling star in the nightsky before them, urging them on."
Assuming this myth is true, this is one of the most absurd speed feats for humans.

Speaking of myths. Was looking at the "500 Mighty Companions of Ysgramor the Returned" and found this:

These were the Fifty Five Beards of the Broadwall, who gave tithe-torc and swear-casket to their Thoom-Thane, Vrage the Gifted, born under the strange suns (meaning the sun of Ald Mora and the sun of Merethland) of 1E208, and it was his clan that built and broke and rebuilt Broadwall whenever the Nords deigned to sing their return whether forwards or back […]
Basically the Broadwall is a name for the division between Atmora and Tamriel (Called Merethland here). Either this is a literal physical division or a more metaphysical thing is uncertain.

Gorgos the Greywalk whose stride could cross the perimeter of Broadwall in a the span of a hiccup (a measure of time still used among the Lords of High Hrothgar) […]
This dude among the 500 Companions could cross the Broadwall in the span of a hiccup. The lowest interpretation is that he could run from the border of Skyrim to the border of Atmora in seconds lol.

Why is throwing a hammer a speed feat if there's no time span for how long it takes to throw it?
A falling meteorite is around 11 km/sec (25,000 mph), to 72 km/sec(160,000 mph!). Trudging in English word means careful walking and treking. These mortals trek so hard and fast that they can both perceive the falling meteor that "encouraged" them to move while eating. The common interpretation is they having speed of .50 BMG bullet while moving towards hypersonic speed. They can perceive and move with a meteorite, that is the most important part.

It could get more ridiculous if you approriate a falling "star" with a real star, which a star moving around the universe travels almost the speed of light. However, I still prefer the interpretation of meteorite.

Because he threw the hammer into the sky and followed it as it stayed on the sky until it landed.

He followed the hammer from Morrowind to Hammerfell. Which is why the land has that name in the first place.

Also we need a second thread.
Name it something like Mortal Discussion thread. We all agreed that Gods and Powerful entities are done here.

We should move into the topic of mortal warfare and sorts of thing. You create the thread or somebody else?

I'd suggest putting a tldr for the mortals who are especially powerful (Since I;m not too sure where powerful guys being Low 2-C comes from)
